IITD as I experienced

Course Curriculum Overview :

Chemical engineering is one of the most sought after courses in the world and one of the hardest to study. The curriculum is well structured with common courses in the first year and start of chemical engineering courses from the second year. Enough options of electives and interdisciplinary courses to choose from and build your know-how according to your interest. Exams are held twice every semester and the difficulty level is generally hard.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are offered through placement committee in the summer of your third year. The companies range from consulting to software, startups and core branch related. These typically last for 2-3 months and are a mandatory part of your college experience

Placement Experience :

Placements happen at the end of 7th semester. Few companies that visit include MBB, Microsoft, Google, HFTs, and a range of startups. Offers made are upwards of 500. Highesh package can go upto 1 CR (primarily US based) and average would be around 15 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The base tuition fees itself is not as high as compared to other colleges. Good amount of scholarships are available based on merit-and means that can waive off tuition fee completely. The total cost of education for 4 years can range from 2-3L to 10+ lacs depending on scholarships and category. A scholarship to look out for is MCM, there are other numerous options as well which are floated every year

Campus Life :

I had a great time at college. You have 13+ cultural clubs to choose from, a multitude of sports, both indoor and outdoor. You have great access to library, computer centers, audiotriums, etc. IITD boasts 3 major grounds including athletic, cricket and a football ground.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are a bit old but there are new ones built recently which are pretty good with just a little higher fees. Mess food is okayish and good to eat regularly. Hostels are incredibly affordable with approx 25k for a semester including everything.

Admission :

You have to pass the JEE- Advanced examination with a great rank mine was 1599 (General). You can apply for jee examination from their website, as and when the forms open. Since IITD is a government college, you would get reservation benefits as applicable according to your category. JEE is obviously a hard exam and you have to prepare well for it. Admission process should also consider student's profile apart from JEE score only

Faculty :

Good faculty to student ratio of 1:8. Faculty's from diverse backgrounds, ivy league schools and excellent research experience. Teachers are approachable and help you out when you express your intent and work hard. Some faculties might be too strict about class/course rules.

Placement Experience:

Placements are going abyssmal recently. due to sudden hike in number of students and the recession going on, there is utter discomfort among students regarding the placement season. most companies do visit the campus, but theyjust take 2 or 3 students and leave. the packages are pretty good, but only few people get to bag those. so at the end of season, there is a few population placed in good companies, and a big population left unemployed.

Good placement opportunities student can sit for placement from 7th semester companies will come. Avg package for cse/IT is around 7 lpa and for ece is 4-5 lpa. No good internship opportunities on campus you have to try off campus. Top recruiters are zomato, chayos, amazon, zs associates, josh technology, tcs, juapay, cvent, cognizant, yamaha and many more companies.... Highest package is 50 lpa in Microsoft and lowest is 3.5 lpa.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okayish nor too good neither too bad the average package here is around 6 lpa which is less but some companies do come and place the students in the campus itself also the network of alumni is good they also apply for offcampus placement and try build a network for the juniors. We often get internship notification from our seniors only

Course Curriculum Overview:

DU has many reputable colleges and departments that offer high-quality education, but like any institution, there may be variations in the quality of education depending on the specific course, faculty members, resources available, and other factors. there is some frequency for exam along with your perspective on their moderate level

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester companies started hiring interns which happens incampus obviously and they also pay kind of decent stipend somewhere around 20-40k. Placements here is decent enough like if you want that 1cr package you'll have to look for off campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to pursue engineering and ipu has a great reputation. placements is also decent.Faculty is nice and teaching method is also nice. Student ratio is pretty bad especially in cse. There are two exams in one semester the midsem and endsem. Exams are moderately difficult. The college is also in a very lively location in Delhi and has many places for students to hang out. Faculty at msit, is well educated and best at their job of teaching, almost all the teachers are experience holders, teaching at msit. It's easy to pass the exams If you study from teachers notes because most of the questions are related to their notes in midsem and endsem. Exams are of 30 marks and 75 marks and passing marks are 12 and 30.But the cse branch is considered as top branch in the msit and is preferred over the other branches is what I have been told by the seniors. The faculty is quite qualified and know how to teach labs are also well maintained .
