Fests are just awesome if don't believe just search about dtu fest on internet also this year engifest'23 is organised and approx 3 lakh students visited dtu to attend this fest
It's fest ... the fest are the best ( the one which happen in feb and march ) and also it's people .

Dislikes

I dislike the fact that the canteen is the worst part of DTU.
Some of the faculty has very bad attitude towards teaching and their behaviour towards students.

The atmosphere and the crowd with which I can Interact.
The variety of things the college provides and the opportunities it provides, gives chance to students of all the domain

Dislikes

The excessive number of people that are being admitted coz it also allows entries of lower ranked candidates which degraids the quality of students.

Placement Experience:

Students becomes eligible for placement from 3rd year's 6th semester. Alot of good companies visit our college like Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs etc. Hights package international goes around 1.5 crore per annum and for domestic it goes 80 lakhs per annum. The average package is around 14-15 lakhs for whole college and solely my branch has around 20 lakhs per annum. These stats include off campus placements as well and around 60-65% people gets placed overall our of 2.5k students.

Likes

College life: DTU provide one of the best exposure and chill college life in INDIA.
Infrastructure:DTU's infra is one of the best Delhi, labs and classroom are well maintained.

Dislikes

State reservation: Around 85% seats are reserved for Delhi students which makes very difficult for outside students to get seat in DTU.
Fee Structure : Fee hike and total fee is very high and no such scholarship for lower income family students.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the main factor for which students choose DTU. Here average package is around 15lpa and average of tech branch is 24lpa. Around 350+ companies visit DTU for recruitment ecery year such as Amazon Google Microsoft etc. Around 80% students got placed every year , rest opt for govt jobs, masters, startups,etc.

i liked the social life of this college people are too good
i also like the music society of dtu for which i am a part of

Dislikes

i dont like the hostel not good for accomodation purposes
i do not like the mess the food quality and the members of the mess

Placement Experience:

placement of this college is quite good as already mentioned the average package is around 16 lakhs and the branch i am in is IT whose average package is around 24 lakhs and mainly it is dependent on students how well they are at their skills to get a good package

Their sports facilities are very good .
Their festival culture is great like every month they have around 2 fests.

Dislikes

There are lot of distance between the main gate and classes . It's the only thing I don't like.

Placement Experience:

I think college placements are good. From the 3rd year you are eligible for applying in on campus internships and from the 7th semester for placements.companies like Microsoft , snapdragon , Nvidia ,C sharp visited our campus for placements.There are lot of offers given by the companies .I think highest package was 1cr + and I don't know about lowest package. My plans after degree to go.for higher studies.

The 6 sem students are eligible for the placement drive the companies are get started to visit the college campus There are many companies like microsoft apple google etc are come with high packages The placement chance is 90%

Open air theater is the best attraction.
Sports complex is also good with all facilities.

Dislikes

I did not like all the faculties as their method of teaching is not that good.
There is no clock in the clock tower at dtu.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are decent in the top branches but low in lower branches. You may get a chance for internship in the third year and placement season startnearly at the begining of the fourth year. This year highest package offered was 86 lakh. Almost 80 percent students get placed. I would prefer doing an MBA after the course.

College campus for its beauty and tranquility.
Placement opportunities and learning experiences, Library is good as well.

Dislikes

Canteen food can be improved in terms of quality .
The gender ratio can be better than the current situation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose IT department (Btech) because of my rank and interests in coding.The course curriculum has been changed as per the New Education Policy and is good with respect to current requirements in the tech field. We have aroung 60-75 students in one section ,which is taken up by one teacher ,so the faculty :student ratio is fine. The faculty is good and teaching method is efficient as per the need of the subject. Exams were held timely and exams were not very difficult if we prepared smartly with proper planning and execution.

The placement statistics of the college are very good this year due to recession in the placement stats had dropped but if we ignore this year then the average package of top branches like cs and it are closed to 24 lakhs per annum the almost every company visits the campus
