The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi has rescheduled the Spot Round for B.Tech/B.Arch admissions to August 1 and 2 due to an overwhelming number of applicants.

New Delhi: The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi has announced a change in the schedule for the Spot Round of counselling for B.Tech/B.Arch admissions. The round, originally scheduled for July 31 and August 1, has been rescheduled to August 1 and August 2 due to an overwhelming response from aspiring candidates. In the official notification, JAC Delhi cited the need to manage the large number of applicants efficiently and avoid any inconveniences as the reason for the postponement. The JAC Delhi has urged candidates to check the official website regularly for updates and further instructions. The committee has assured that all necessary information regarding the rescheduled Spot Round will be communicated in due course.

What are the Guidelines for JAC Delhi Spot Counselling 2024?

You must follow the below-mentioned guidelines before attending the spot round of JAC Delhi Counselling 2024:

  • JAC Delhi registered candidates who have taken admission to any programmes offered by any of the participating Universities/institutes in any round are NOT ELIGIBLE for the SPOT Round.
  • The Choices filled by the candidates (participating in the Spot Round) for earlier Rounds of Online Counselling will not be valid for this SPOT Round of Counselling. However, the candidates are advised to choose the available seats in the SPOT round wisely.
  • If a candidate fails to deposit the Seat Acceptance Fee draft immediately at the time of seat allotment for whatever reason, the seat allotted to him/her will be immediately cancelled and offered to the next candidate based on JEE (Main) CRL.
  • No deficiency will be allowed in the spot round, the candidature will be cancelled at once and no representation will be entertained thereafter under any circumstances.
  • JAC DELHI 2024 reserves the right to make any modification/ alteration in the process/procedure/schedule with prior information to the available aspirants at that moment.
  • In case of withdrawal after admission, FEES SHALL NOT BE REFUNDED to candidates taking admission during the spot round.
  • Candidates being admitted in the spot round will be marked frozen and will not be considered for any branch upgrade during the spot round.
  • Those taking admission to DTU, DSEU, IIITD, NSUT and IGDTUW need to pay the balance fee as per the guidelines of Balance Fee Payment on the JAC Website and the website of the respective University/Institute

What Documents are Required for the JAC Delhi Spot Counselling 2024?

You must carry the following documents for the physical spot round of the JAC Delhi Counselling 2024:

  • Printout of JAC Delhi registration form
  • Class X mark sheet (original and one photocopy
  • Class XII mark sheet (original and one photocopy)
  • Category (ST/SC/EWS/OBC/PD/CW/SG) certificate* JEE Main 2024 admit card
  • JEE Main 2024 scorecard
  • Two passport-sized photographs
  • One self-addressed envelope (25 cm x 12 cm) with Rs. 40/- postal stamp affixed on it
