Delhi Technical University (DTU) has released the Placements 2023 report. The university reported 1821 students were placed in this placement drive and recieved 1990 offers. A total of 2684 students from B.Tech, M.Tech & MBA courses participated in the placement drive. The DTU Placement report 2023 has been released on the official website and describes course wise placements. DTU highest package stood at INR 82.05 LPA (received by the B.Tech batch) & DTU B.Tech (COE) average package stood at INR 23.70 LPA.

- Faculties in electrical department is a bit scary, they are very strict for attendence... But you just have to be a good student they'll do nothing against you

Placements in my college is preety good .. the only thing you have to focus is you have to maintain your cgpa and you have to develop skills .. Bec companies offered roles on the basis of cgpa for example only 9+ cgpa can sit for the position which offer 25-30 lakhs .. so it's very important to take care of it throughout your 4 years of btech

- DTU still has this 75% attendance criteria for appearing the semester exams. which i don't like at all.
Placement Experience:
DTU have a great record of placements in past every year over 2000 students sit for placements and around 80 to 90% of student gets oncampus placements with top recuriters like Google, facebook, Amazon, Codenation, DE-shaw, Uber etc. In 2022-23 highest package was 64 lpa with average package of 15lpa. But due to high competion in college itself a student must have to prepare for placement good enough.

- Faculties in the university are very nice, supportive and very skilled. Their teaching style is awesome except some senior ones. In library also, you may get all the books required with your course.
- Placement ratio is also good for DTU. Many famous MNCs like infosys visit here.
Dislikes
- In labs, experiments are not demonstrated to the students. You are just given a manual and you have to perform the experiments on your own. No matters if you have covered the topic in your theory class or not.
Placement Experience:
For placements students are eligible from fourth year onwards. And for internships you can apply from third year onwards. A highest of 1.84 cr package was offered and average package goes to 15 LPA. For tech branches CSE, IT, SE average package goes to 20 LPA. This year due to recession around 55% students of tech branches are placed till to the date. If you are not able to crack placement within campus you can opt for off campus too.

- DTU now has many food stalls and services for the students

- The teaching staff is not very good. Students have to study themselves before every exams.
- There are not much facilities for girls washrooms throughout the campus even though the campus is huge

Campus placement for B. Tech was around 50% this year because of recession. My course had the most percentage of placement in core after mechanical. The average package lurked around 10L/year. The tech placement was around 60%.

- College is very huge in land area so much to explore. The environment, seniors, professors everything single thing is amazing. Freedom for everything most of the sports are available and tournament serves as opportunities.
- The fests is a outstanding point when it comes to DTU.
Dislikes
- There is nothing such like that but traveling inside campus sometimes causes pain in knees. So there should be a mini rickshaw for students and no fare.

Nearly 45% students gets placed (Civil engineering)in some renowned companies and organisations. students can apply for placements after 6th semester. highest package given till to this date is 1.2crore rupees. i plan on doing Mtech after this.

Since, right now I'm in 2nd year at DTU, All I have heard about placements from seniors is that placements are good at DTU. You just have to maintain a good CGPA. Placements has seen a drop in 2023 batch because of recession but overall the placements are good.

From starting of 7th semester u are eligible to applies in company according to there criteria. Every big name like apple ,google ,Microsoft came in dtu for recruitment. The highest packege this year is quit low because of down market highest a is 82 lpa and average is 15 lpa.

Placements of DTU are very good. But in the recent years placements have fallen due to the recession going on. The average package here is about 18 lakh per annum while my branch engineering physics offers the median package of 800000 per anum the highest package offered was 24 lacs per annum when the lowest package offered was 3 lakhs per annum and the median was 7.5 lakhs approx 40% of a students gets placed on the campus and 20% gets of campus placements. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good job and contribute to the goodness of the society. Every good company like Amazon Facebook Flipkart Google Apple adobe come in our college to provide placement opportunities number of offers made by 40 out of every 100 students

- Delhi Technological University has one of the biggest campus in Delhi with many food and beverage stalls, wide and big sport grounds and open green spaces to hang out with your friends.
- DTU is recognized for it's strong academic programs, be it engineering, design or economics.

- DTU Main Campus is located in a non-developed area and hence connectivity for the day-scholars is difficult.
- The college does not provide internships, although, students tend to make a WhatsApp group and share possible opportunities there.

Delhi Technological University has a good track of placements. Many students secure a good offer from reputed companies in India and abroad. However, if you look from the angle of research , IIIT Delhi certainly is way ahead than the other colleges. Its research-oriented institute is primarily established to conduct cutting-edge research in the field of CS. While BITS Pilani also has a decent research culture, DTU, and NSUT are nowhere near IIIT Delhi in terms of research. IIIT Delhi students have a lot of projects to work on under highly learned and passionate faculties. The exposure these students receive is unmatched and they are offered excellent opportunities in terms of both in industry and for higher education.
So if you want both excellent placements and research opportunities go for IIIT Delhi but if you want a good campus life too that is less focused on research go for BITS Pilani.

Among NIT Delhi, DTU, and NSUT, which one is better in terms of placement?
NIT Delhi is very young, and it can not be compared to NSUT and DTU. Now the better option among these two depends on your branch choice. If you want to opt for CoE/IT/ECE, NSUT has slightly better placements in these branches. But in core branches (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Poly), DTU has a really good placement record. - DTU Civil Engineering has a relatively easier syllabus in comparison to other branches. You can maintain a high CGPA and even make it into IIMs. You will also have better opportunities than students in non-core companies.
- The light syllabus gives you enough time to prepare for IES/GATE examination and secure excellent government jobs.
- Civil Engineering at DTU has decent placements and this year the average package offered was INR 8.845 LPA. If you have a decent CGPA and communication skills, you can easily secure a package in the range of 5-7 lakhs.
- Among other future aspects of this program, you can also pursue MS from Stanford as there is very less competition compared to computer science.
- Although your package will be inferior to CS students, a government job in civil engineering offers you a comfortable and contented life,

Even colleges better than DTU find it difficult to maintain a 100% record. How are the placements of environmental engineering at DTU?
The placements of environmental engineering at DTU are great. According to the placement highlights of 2019, the environmental engineering department received a total of 38 placement offers and 27 students from the department got placed. The highest CTC received by the students of this department was around 16 LPA in this academic season. In the past students of environmental engineering received placement packages up to 25 lakhs per annum. The company offering the package was Brother Industries and the post was software developer. Students are offered lucrative packages at reputed firms such as ZS, MuSigma, Deloitte, UHG, Practo, RNF, Printvenue, etc. These companies offer average placement packages of around 5-6 lakhs per annum for non-tech posts.
