IPU has started counselling for admission to UG and PG programs for the academic session 2024-25. The last date to fill Choices/Preferences for MBA (CAT)/BCA/B.Ed/BBA/BTech/LE BTech/B.Ed Special Education program is July 03, 2024. The Round 01 result will be released on July 04 or July 04, 2024. Other important updates about IPU counselling 2024 are as follows:
- The 2nd offline counselling for BTech BioTech based on IPU CET scores will be held on July 08, 2024.
- Choices/Preferences filling for BA LLB/BBA LLB program will be done from July 02 to July 05, 2024. IPU BA LLB/BBA LLB Round 01 seat allotment result will be released on July 08, 2024.
- IPU BHMCT 2nd offline counselling will be held on July 10 and the OPEN House Counselling on July 11, 2024.
- Enrolment and Payment of fees for IPU MCA centralised online counseling based on NIMCET scores will be done from July 02 to July 08, 2024.
- IPU B.Des First Offline Counselling will be held on July 04, 2024.

About IPU
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), popularly known as IP University or IPU is a state university, located in Delhi. GGSIPU is one of the largest universities in Delhi with a campus area of 78 acres and an enrollment of more than 8000 students. IPU is recognized by the UGC and accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the NAAC. It has been ranked 74th among the universities in India by NIRF 2023. IPU has more than 120 affiliated colleges out of which 83 are self-financed and 35 are owned and managed by the Government of NCT of Delhi.

IPU Result
IPU follows an odd and even semester pattern for all the courses offered. Term-End examinations for even and odd semesters are conducted in the months of May/June and December, respectively. IPU releases results within 1-2 months after successful completion of the exam. Students who are not satisfied with the marks can apply for the revelation of answer scripts by paying a required fee. IPU results can be checked and downloaded by visiting the official website of the university.

- Green environment college campus is beautiful and pleasant with trees and plants allover the college with garden for sitting area for students to enjoy and study in silence
- Infrastructure - good infrastructure with big classroom and benches, with projector, Soft boards to display students works, Ac and well ventilated. Library is built separately, two auditorium one open, one with big hall inside , canteen available

- Partiality between students in marks (projects) giving priority to specific students, favratism
- Books - content is not available properly in books provided students have to refer multiple books topic wise

CET test merit based, application fee 1000rupees non refundable. Only for army wards civilian are not given admissions. Difficulty level is oky depends on students preparation. Admission process is bit longer first have to pay admission fee to university to reserve the seat in online mode then accedmic fees to college in physical mode.

There are three methods to get into MAIT, 1st through CAT if you are a CAT aspirant you would be firstly preferred to be in the college then the priority is given to CMAT students and lastly its the own exam of IPU that is CET.

- I really loved the atmosphere of the college. Every one there was very supportive from teachers to students from seniors to batchmates
- There are talented people not it's not just about studying but other cultural societies also flourish there

The admission process was smooth they go with many rounds and spot rounds but the cse seats get filled really quickly the cut-off for cse is near 50k jee rank. if you qualify then the admissions process is very smooth infact I didn't have to go to college personally everything was done online

- Faculty was fairly new and didn't have much experience in teaching as the Law program was recently introduced in the college.
- Fees was increased after 1st year and even though the students protested, nothing happened.
Admission:
I gave CLAT in 2019 and got awarded MAIMS. First you have to fill the GGSIPU admission form and pay the fees for that. Then the admission would be on the basis of CLAT score. In IPU's website you will have to choose your college preferences. There were 3 rounds of counselling for college allotment. I had to change my preference so I skipped the first round and changed my preference. University never informed when the admission process starts so I had to visit the college to get to know the admission process. College informed me with the documents I had to submit and the University should have made that clear before hand which they didn't do.

As I was an outsider from Delhi, so even if I had a percentile of 90 in JEE mains I couldn't get any higher college in Indraprastha University Counselling, so if you are an insider Daily, it is advised that you should go for the IPU counselling as the 85% seats of the colleges been acquired by the Delhi students and the rest 15% is by the outside Students

The eligibility of the bba course is 55% in 12th. Students can get admission through passing the exam named IPU-CET, the application fees for this is around 1500, then they have to give the exam and then the counselling process will start and the students needs to choose the colleges in that. After alloting the college they must need to pay specific amount to fix there seat for college. All the reserved categories students get the advantages of offering good colleges on low marks

Now if you want admission in IPU, you have to get a decent rank in JEE to get one of the good colleges here. They have a Delhi quota and Other state quota. GGSIPU EWS Scholarship
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) offers scholarships to candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of the society. The scheme is open to all students who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. A special committee will assess the financial needs of the student by considering various factors such as the livelihood pattern of the society, the number of dependents, the status of health of family members, the academic merit of applicants and other parameters. The maximum amount of grant offered under this scheme is INR 50,000. However, in exceptional circumstances, the committee might increase the scholarship amount. The eligibility criteria for the GGSIPU EWS Scholarship are as follows:
- The family of the student must have a National Food Security Card (Statement of last 6 Months Transaction).
- The annual family income of the student should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakhs.
The duly filled application form with all the necessary documents should be submitted to the Directorate of Student’s Welfare (DSW) before the deadline. All the applications received will be displayed on the official website. The applicants have to appear before the committee with their parents at the allotted venue and at the given time. No request for a personal appearance before the scheduled date will be entertained. The list of candidates selected for the GGSIPU EWS Scholarship will be available on the website. Students are advised to check the website regularly for more updates.
GGSIPU Entrepreneurship Development Programme
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) offers a grant of INR 5000 per month to students who are engaged in entrepreneurial activities. Interested students will be required to propose an action plan for the same. The beneficiaries of this scheme must use the grant to participate in workshops, seminars, hackathons, etc that have an objective related to entrepreneurship. Students can also utilise their grants to help other students by raising additional funds. Students can also enroll in Entrepreneurship related courses offered by Udemy, Coursera, MSME, Niti Aayog, DIPP, etc. Such students will be required to share a progress report every six months with a detailed presentation.
GGSIPU Hana Scholarship
GGSIPU offers scholarships in collaboration with the Hana Nanum Foundation to financially deprived students, differently abled students, children of differently abled parents, and exemplary students with top grades. As per the latest data, a total of 23 students were offered this scholarship under five colleges of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University including the main campus. The duration of the scholarship is one year, however, the scholarship can also be renewed in case the student still meets the eligibility criteria. GGSIPU DLF Scholarship
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has signed a MoU with the DLF Foundation for a DLF Raghvendra Scholarship Programme. Under this scholarship, IPU will nominate four students per year for the recommendation of the DLF Raghvendra Scholarship. The final selection of the scholars under this scheme will be taken by the DLF Foundation. The organization will pay an amount of INR 40,000 per student each year based on actual fees and hostel charges payable to GGSIPU. The continuation of this scheme will be based on good academic performance in the subsequent years. The financing authority, DLF, holds a right to discontinue the scholarship if the student fails to achieve a good academic record. The scholarship will then be transferred to another deserving student in the same class. On the termination of the MoU, the DLF Foundation shall continue to pay the scholarship amount to the student till the end of the respective courses. The eligibility criteria for the GGSIPU DLF Scholarship are as follows:
- The income of the parent should not exceed INR 3 Lakhs per annum.
- Only first-year students are eligible to apply.
- The scholarship is merit-based, and the results of the entrance examination conducted by the institute (IPU CET) or at the national level will be taken into consideration for rewarding the scholarship.
