DTU are changing their course structure which any college barely does which is a good thing. The relevance is still low like in any other college but yes there have been trials in improving the system for the betterment of the students.

The curriculum of whole education system is so old the same our college follow the same engineering pattern that just help in scores increasing the memory power it is zero of i talk about placement ... That is the huge difference between college studies and what companies ask for

Curriculum in not at all up to date. You need to put efforts yourself to really make a difference majority of students here study from you tube or books to prepare for placements. No one depends on college curriculum. The teaching methods of the faculty members is upto the mark.

The curriculum designed is very appropriate in terms of syllabus and effectiveness as per the branch . The curriculum does touch the topic of real world application in great depth and also the assignments and project works assigned are related to the same Regular assignments and tests are arranged by the teachers and their marks are counted in the internal

Course curriculum is approximately good. Yes we get learn a lot if anyone is willing to. Computer science was always on top of my list and this college have speciality in it. Curriculum have many different labs which help us to learn how to tackle real world problems

I was really interested in Computer Science, coding, new technologies so I opted for that. Student Intake is increasing day by day in DTU. As per my knowledge one faculty has two batches means 75+75 = 150 students Faculties are really very qualified, you will find most faculty from IITD in DTU.Our 1st year chemistry teacher had represented India in UK, Singapore, Malasia etc. And he is a member of American Chemical Society. Teaching method is ok as it includes white board marker method, projector are also there but used by very less teacher. Teachers who really want to teach teaches very well, unfortunately most are not too interested in teaching. We have to give Mid sem and End sem examination for pass one semester. For mid sem you need to start studying at least 1 week before exams and for end sem you need to study atleast 2 weeks before. In first year we did not get any holiday in between examination ( 5 days back to back exams). Generally exams are based on PYQs .

Carriculums are to linieant there is no hard and fast rule for attendance ...I have given my exams on 30.percent attendance ????...and other carriculums are also linieant there is nothing to worry about ....but the academics and other practical are the same as school.life no ...real world application u gonna face ( expect some courses like ds web d machine learning) ...this clg should work.on their acadmic section...the exams are being conducted after every 1.5 month ( so basically your semester last for 3.5 to 4 months ) ...exams are not that difficult.. Ques are much easier if u study well

The Course curriculum changed with my batch before that no matter from which branch, you have to study all in 1st year common syllabus but now from first sem curriculum have your branch-oriented subjects

The course curriculum is outdated and there are many things taught that are not actually working at present. I am really interested in computer science field but I am actually learning it from youtube videos rather than college. In first year they literally teach some subjects like physics, ece, that I would never ever use in my life.
NSIT/DTU is far better than NIT Hamirpur for CSE.
Be it academics, placement, research culture, peer group, exposure, etc. NSIT/DTU will offer better opportunities. These two institutes also have a locational advantage. Due to the favorable location, you can easily get good exposure in the CSE domain. NSIT and DTU both will offer you plenty of opportunities. However, many students prefer NSIT for their small student intake.
Among the above two institutes, for students interested specifically in computer science, JMI CSE should be a better option. But, students having no specific preference in streams should consider Mechanical at DTU.
The table below gives a brief level of comparison among the two departments of the institutes.
