  • State reservation: Around 85% seats are reserved for Delhi students which makes very difficult for outside students to get seat in DTU.
  • Fee Structure : Fee hike and total fee is very high and no such scholarship for lower income family students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is quite old but it is now changing. There are some subjects which students have to study but not related to their field . More practical subjects can be included such as AI Pattern Recoginition , Speech recoginition,etc which can improved curriculum. Mid sem and end sem are conduct through out the sem.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies visit campus for intern hiring in the end of 2nd year. Companies like Google, Microsoft , Amazon ,Sprinklr , etc visit campus for hiring. Roles provided such as SDE intern , Mobile engineer, Machine learning interns , data science intern,etc. Highest stipend was given by sprinklr that was 2 lakh per month. But students getting intern are very less in number as compared to placed students.

Placement Experience :

Placements are the main factor for which students choose DTU. Here average package is around 15lpa and average of tech branch is 24lpa. Around 350+ companies visit DTU for recruitment ecery year such as Amazon Google Microsoft etc. Around 80% students got placed every year , rest opt for govt jobs, masters, startups,etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure of B.tech in DTU is around 8.9 lakh for 2021 batch and it is increasing around 10% every year. Complete cost can be around 12 lakh for 4 years. Delhi state govt provide scholarship for OBC SC ST students. There is no as such major scholarship for general category students. They have to go for scholarship by private companies such reliance ,hdfc ,etc.

Campus Life :

Campus life at DTU is best. There are so many clubs ans society in every interest. Engifest is the main cultural fest in DTU and Invictus is the main tech fest there. Both are very good and amazing. Infrastructure of DTU is also very good. Classroom are of good standards and labs are well maintained. Sports facilities are also quite good , there is seperate cricket ground,football ground,etc

Hostel Facilities :

There are 10 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel. Single room, double room and triple sharing rooms are available. There is a AC hostel as well but it consist of triple sharing room. SIngle room cost 60k per year and 36.8k for mess seperately. Mess food is average quality. Generally hostels are alloted for outside delhi students.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

Admission is based on the performance of JEE main exam. JAC conducts admission counselling every year for Delhi state govt colleges. Cutt off for delhi state students are relatively much easier than outsiders. Genarlly 15k rank is needed for getting admission in good branch of DTU.

Explore as much as you can in your college life.

Placement Experience:

Placements at DTU are good, even in core branches, but students must have the necessary skills. At DTU, over 300 companies visit, offering decent packages. The highest packages can reach crores (of course, these are international packages). Some students also prefer to pursue master's degrees or MBAs after their degree. From the third year, students are eligible for on-campus internship opportunities, and in the fourth year, they are eligible for placements. It is definitely beneficial, but you must have skills and knowledge of your subjects. Strong communication skills are also essential.

if we talk about the placement of this college over 90% of the students are placed and the average package for CSE department in around 10 LPA which keeps changing over years that really depends upon the industry after completing the course

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to learn coding and that's why i chose btech in computer science at igdtuw. the curriculum is not designed from the perspective of preparing you for real-world application, instead it solely depends on what should be taught at a university based on the branch. the area of improvement could be removing the unrelated subjects in the first year of engineering because no one actually learns anything from that and instead, there should be related subjects. exams are held twice a semester, making it four times a year

Delhi's second IIT, DTU

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6th semester . Many big companies visit the college and there are very big offers each year and even offers upto 1.5cr have been made . The average package for CSE is 18 lpa and almost all CSE students that opt for placement get placed . My plan is to pursue higher education after degree.

Placement Experience:

The college is known for its placements, it has great placement opportunities. The companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Uber, Walmart, Wipro, and many more visits the college for placements and offers more than 30 lacks package. The highest package offered to a student was 59. 45 lacks in the year 2021 and the average salary package was 19.15 lacks , the highest package was Google. The college provides internship opportunities as well and it gets started from the beginning of 3 Rd year of students, students in their 2 nd year also got internship opportunities. so almost all students get placed and if someone still does not get any placement so they have the opportunity to do higher study in Mtech. The college provides higher study options to students, this includes Mtech and Ph.D. courses and many more. So you can go to this college.

DTU might be better

Placement Experience:

From the end of the 4th sem and starting of the 5th sem students can get internships easily they are eligible for placement just after the 3rd year many students get placement in the same companies they are interning in. Many companies visit the campus to take interviews n every year and give many offers to the students. The last highest offer was around 1.2 crores Nd average is around 25-30lakhs. College claims 100% of students get placed but the reality is actually around 90% get placement actually others. My plans after getting the degree will be to become the richest person in my family then in the world.

NSUT-Rising and improving everyday

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. Major companies include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Swiggy, Sprinkler, Blackstone etc. A few years back,8 students from NSUT got a staggering package of 1.25 Crore from Google. The average package for tech branches is around 17-18 lakhs per annum. In tech branches, it has a humbling record of 100 percent placements approximately. As of now, I'll like to do my master from abroad after completing BTech from NSUT
