Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose IT department (Btech) because of my rank and interests in coding.The course curriculum has been changed as per the New Education Policy and is good with respect to current requirements in the tech field. We have aroung 60-75 students in one section ,which is taken up by one teacher ,so the faculty :student ratio is fine. The faculty is good and teaching method is efficient as per the need of the subject. Exams were held timely and exams were not very difficult if we prepared smartly with proper planning and execution.

Class Size : 63Course Fees : INR 229000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is fine . I have applied for fee concession for financially weaker background students,the application process is still going on and will hopefully end in 1-2 months.In this Financial assistance program , students are refunded a certain %of the tuition fees depending upon family annual income.

Campus Life :

The camapus life is truly amazing, A great paradise after clearing JEE. The college campus is 164 acres large and the infrastructure is also very good.There is a very big sports complex as well with basketball,volleyball ,tennis courts,a gymnasium,open gyms,cricket ground,running track and an indoor hall for badminton and table tennis.The classrooms are really great ,air conditioning is also very good during summers. Our college is famous for its fests!Enginfest,Yuvaan,Invictus and many more! There are so many societies in college dealing with areas like dance (Nrityangana , Vibe) , music, literature, debating, technology and coding ,entrepreneurship and also the tech teams.

Admission :

For admission into Delhi Technological University,we have to secure a good percentile in JEE Mains Exam.JEE Mains exam is conducted twice in a year as the First and Second Attempt,the Rank is declared after both the exams depnding upon the best of two cases.The admission is then carried out by JAC Delhi Conselling For Delhi institutes(DTU, NSUT ,IGDTUW, IIITD, DSEU). Cutoff varies for different ranks and different categories ,but DTU offers 85% Quota to Delhi students and the data for the required cutoff ,branchwise can be found on the internet. I availed the benfit of GEN-EWS, i secured an overall 97.46%ile and got admission in the IT Branch here at DTU.

Explore as much as you can in your college life.

Placement Experience:

Placements at DTU are good, even in core branches, but students must have the necessary skills. At DTU, over 300 companies visit, offering decent packages. The highest packages can reach crores (of course, these are international packages). Some students also prefer to pursue master's degrees or MBAs after their degree. From the third year, students are eligible for on-campus internship opportunities, and in the fourth year, they are eligible for placements. It is definitely beneficial, but you must have skills and knowledge of your subjects. Strong communication skills are also essential.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to learn coding and that's why i chose btech in computer science at igdtuw. the curriculum is not designed from the perspective of preparing you for real-world application, instead it solely depends on what should be taught at a university based on the branch. the area of improvement could be removing the unrelated subjects in the first year of engineering because no one actually learns anything from that and instead, there should be related subjects. exams are held twice a semester, making it four times a year

Delhi's second IIT, DTU

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6th semester . Many big companies visit the college and there are very big offers each year and even offers upto 1.5cr have been made . The average package for CSE is 18 lpa and almost all CSE students that opt for placement get placed . My plan is to pursue higher education after degree.

Placement Experience:

The college is known for its placements, it has great placement opportunities. The companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Uber, Walmart, Wipro, and many more visits the college for placements and offers more than 30 lacks package. The highest package offered to a student was 59. 45 lacks in the year 2021 and the average salary package was 19.15 lacks , the highest package was Google. The college provides internship opportunities as well and it gets started from the beginning of 3 Rd year of students, students in their 2 nd year also got internship opportunities. so almost all students get placed and if someone still does not get any placement so they have the opportunity to do higher study in Mtech. The college provides higher study options to students, this includes Mtech and Ph.D. courses and many more. So you can go to this college.

DTU might be better

Placement Experience:

From the end of the 4th sem and starting of the 5th sem students can get internships easily they are eligible for placement just after the 3rd year many students get placement in the same companies they are interning in. Many companies visit the campus to take interviews n every year and give many offers to the students. The last highest offer was around 1.2 crores Nd average is around 25-30lakhs. College claims 100% of students get placed but the reality is actually around 90% get placement actually others. My plans after getting the degree will be to become the richest person in my family then in the world.

NSUT-Rising and improving everyday

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. Major companies include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Swiggy, Sprinkler, Blackstone etc. A few years back,8 students from NSUT got a staggering package of 1.25 Crore from Google. The average package for tech branches is around 17-18 lakhs per annum. In tech branches, it has a humbling record of 100 percent placements approximately. As of now, I'll like to do my master from abroad after completing BTech from NSUT
