My course was electrical engineering so it was totally dependent on lab practicals and day to day use . Faculty was very sharp in their subjects and will teach you each and everything. If you have studied with concentration then you can go for govt exams like IES or JE in any field you just have to revise your notes.

The curriculum is really upto date, it was recently updated in 2023, and it has been made more branch specific and industry focused, with CBCS, it has provided students a great flexibility of choosing topics of their own interest, the college always major and minor degrees, in the same department or any other. the frequency of examination is every one and a half month, which in my opinion can be too hectic for some students and they sometimes tend to be hard, while some subjects are easy and can be done with studying the night prior.

After clearing jee this doesn't feel much hard you just have to be consistent in studying while not studying 10-12 hr but only 1-2 hr after clg will be enough to score a good cg The frequency of exams might feel high The improvements could be getting a more new and modern teaching methods involved in specific courses

My course is electrical which is considered very hard academically but there are lot of opportunities in this course as in placements electrical is open to all companies and there are tech as well as core field which we can opt for so this is quite decent course and hard as well

I wanted to persue electronic and communication branch , but as per my rank i couldn't make into ece so i got EE branch , but i always like the electrical devices , how they work , how can i make these devices , I like the electrical vehicles and renewable energy part interesting and relevant for future . Our curriculum is made in such a way that first learn the theory and then apply it side by side , for getting the practical knowledge also . College should focus more on the industrial experience means hand on experience so that he can know that by doing what i can make money .There will be 2 exams mid sem and end sem , their difficulties depend on the student , if he listen in class and do all the assignment on time then he can easily get good score.

The curriculum in DTU is not up to date . The college curriculum is not even to crack a good placement u need to student by your self or need to develop some skills to get the good placement . The skill like learning coding or improving communication skills etc

The name itself is enough. Delhi Technological University(DTU) is one of the most established universities in India And among very few tier 1 colleges in India for engineering. The curriculum is very smooth and student-friendly you do not have to deal with immense pressure all the time you can chill and focus on your side goals and hustles easily

The new curriculum applied since 2023 batch is very good and relevant.. you'll learn everything according to your branch .. if you want to go for tech side while you are in core branches you have to take do it on your own

At my time the course curriculum as old which is going on over years so the students of batch 2021, 2022 offered same old curriculum but the course curriculum has changed recently for the batch of 2023 which is good for upcoming batches as well. Since the curriculum has changed recently you can expect improvement and changes in teaching methods as well as difficulty of exams will also increase, which sounds like is intresting in my opinion.
There is no better branch between EE at DTU and ICE at NSIT. It's all about preferences and inclinations. To help you make an informed decision let's talk about both the branches individually
EE at DTU
ICE at NSIT
In all, both DTU and NSIT have similar opportunities and placements so with the right mindset you can do well at both colleges.
If you are interested in the Mechanical branch, you should definitely go for DTU Mechanical. DTU has one of the best Mechanical departments in the country. There are many tech teams and societies for the branch. Tech teams such as Defianz Racing, AUV DTU, UAS DTU, etc. even participated in competitions of international levels and won.
The placement records are also good for the branch. Many PSUs frequently visit the campus placement to recruit students. The highlights of DTU Mechanical Engineering placements show the average package to be INR 7 LPA. ONGC, Mahindra, etc. are among the top recruiting companies.
