The new curriculum applied since 2023 batch is very good and relevant.. you'll learn everything according to your branch .. if you want to go for tech side while you are in core branches you have to take do it on your own

At my time the course curriculum as old which is going on over years so the students of batch 2021, 2022 offered same old curriculum but the course curriculum has changed recently for the batch of 2023 which is good for upcoming batches as well. Since the curriculum has changed recently you can expect improvement and changes in teaching methods as well as difficulty of exams will also increase, which sounds like is intresting in my opinion.

I'd a interest in Electrical Engineering branch for very long. That thing is one of the reason of mine to choose EE at DTU. The curriculum is updated in 2023 to implement real-world applications. The exams happen in every 1.5-2 months. Teachers are moderate.

The curriculum is not up to date according to the latest trends and needs revision a lot. There are many courses which are irrelevant and old to the students for the industry but still they are taught just for the sake of completion of credits.

Curriculum is designed according to the New education policy but there are not any significant changes in the syllabus. The syllabus is not indianised and cater to the needs of current industrial standard. Many areas need complete renewation and the complete rejuvenation according to the needs and demands of current times.

Course structure of DTU is well planned and well established and now due to new education policy course structure had been changed from this year that like as I am learning Electrical engineering so now from first year, I will learn two or three of my main subject in every semester. I opt for Electrical engineering and it was not my choice it was my rank , and if i had better rank i would have opt for IT, CS etc. but i don't regret of my stream which i got luckily because due to recession tech placements sucks and in Electrical engineering i have so many options like gate, ese , barc, state exams etc and i am prearing for that. Carriculam of DTU is practical+theory based. In the complete syllabas you will find the core subjects, electives based on your choice, enviroment related subjects. professors are so chill (i did'nt fail in power electroincs with just 5 marks out of 70) but you will definately face 1 or 2 professors who will not paas you even if you get 15-20marks. exams are held at every 2-3 months gap and difficulty level is moderate and you can request to professors for marks.
There is no better branch between EE at DTU and ICE at NSIT. It's all about preferences and inclinations. To help you make an informed decision let's talk about both the branches individually
EE at DTU
ICE at NSIT
In all, both DTU and NSIT have similar opportunities and placements so with the right mindset you can do well at both colleges.
If you are interested in the Mechanical branch, you should definitely go for DTU Mechanical. DTU has one of the best Mechanical departments in the country. There are many tech teams and societies for the branch. Tech teams such as Defianz Racing, AUV DTU, UAS DTU, etc. even participated in competitions of international levels and won.
The placement records are also good for the branch. Many PSUs frequently visit the campus placement to recruit students. The highlights of DTU Mechanical Engineering placements show the average package to be INR 7 LPA. ONGC, Mahindra, etc. are among the top recruiting companies.
