After NEP 2023, the course curriculam is more relevant and comprehensive because now we have real world use-cases included in every subject so students are able to grasp the knowledge more easily Yes, so the course is pretty much tough that you can't study it one night before your exams one has to study every day to excel in them

I choose electrical engineering as I was very fascinated with the idea of how gadgets , electronic devices work. In the first year all engineering branches have similar courses which give you a brief idea of all the engineering branches. Frequent academic testing within a span of 1-2 months (midsems and endsems)indeed helps students to develop more understanding of the course, labs are there to deepen their learning.

I rate my 9 not 10 because in my opinion, they are teaching us some non-relevant subjects in semester 1 like chemistry and english in all courses. I think they should work more on practical classes other than theory classes. Then timing of classes are 8 am to 6pm may vary for different sections

the curriculum here is outdates and does not align with the current industry level practical knowledge , for example in my lab for edc subject which is electronic devices , they teach us about the working of ic chips whic are outdates and last used in 2000s , the curriculum needs a revision

I was very much motivated to pursue this course of electrical engineering due to following reasons: It is an evergreen branch that will always stay in demand because of immense production of electrical vehicles and other goods. It provides you outer world experience and the course is more enjoyable due to its practical application, its usage in production of cars, bikes, trucks, mobile phones, etc. Once you are done with this course, you can also pursue MBA for higher studies and can also prepare for the Gate entrance exam. No wonder there are certain areas for improvement. The labs can have more proper functioning equipments so that children can enjoy the practicality of building circuits, using machines to operate activities.

Well I'm pursuing a course which is evergreen(electrical engg),I love physics (electronic part in it) but due to my rank which is 2k more than what i needed for ece i opted ee which doesnt seem like a bad option option to me as there is a special thing about nsut that i really like,u can do some electives with your courses. The only con i would say is phd students teaches first year subjects in which some are really good and worse than u can expect regardless u have to study on your own they will help you but u r all alone.

Curriculum in this college is good and I am currently pursuing EE in NSUT . It has good professos and currucillum is also chill and experimental based it focuses more on the practical knowledge . The exams and CTs class tests are conducted on regular bases in NSUT on the regular basis.

Electrical Engineering is a decent branch and having a great placement record that's why I choose the NSUT EE branch . The faculties are really good at NSUT and they are highly qualified and supporting . The students and faculity ratio are also good at NSUT . NSUT have best teaching curicullum who focuses more on the practical knowledge . The exams are conducted timely in NSUT on the regular basis.
There is no better branch between EE at DTU and ICE at NSIT. It's all about preferences and inclinations. To help you make an informed decision let's talk about both the branches individually
EE at DTU
ICE at NSIT
In all, both DTU and NSIT have similar opportunities and placements so with the right mindset you can do well at both colleges.
