DTU has a strong placement record, with many top companies recruiting from the campus.
DTU host a variety of societies and fest providing a balance environment to academic and personal growth.

Dislikes

DTU still has this 75% attendance criteria for appearing the semester exams. which i don't like at all.

Course Curriculum Overview :

At my time the course curriculum as old which is going on over years so the students of batch 2021, 2022 offered same old curriculum but the course curriculum has changed recently for the batch of 2023 which is good for upcoming batches as well. Since the curriculum has changed recently you can expect improvement and changes in teaching methods as well as difficulty of exams will also increase, which sounds like is intresting in my opinion.

Class Size : 300Course Fees : INR 890000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

DTU provides different types if internship opportunites like research, academics, administration etc. and you will get great knowledege in doing internship in reseach with the professors of DTU because of many facutlies persuing their Phd in DTU you will get varity of research areas. And sometimes you will get some stipends from university or professors also.

Placement Experience :

DTU have a great record of placements in past every year over 2000 students sit for placements and around 80 to 90% of student gets oncampus placements with top recuriters like Google, facebook, Amazon, Codenation, DE-shaw, Uber etc. In 2022-23 highest package was 64 lpa with average package of 15lpa. But due to high competion in college itself a student must have to prepare for placement good enough.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees of engineering in DTU is constant for every batch it increases every year by 80000 to 90000 rupees. example I paid overall 890000 rupees for my btech but for 2023 batch students they have to pay a total 980000. But you can get scholarships from various organisation providing you some financial assistance also DTU itself provide upto 100% scholarship to various students.

Campus Life :

DTU have so many fest over a year with big fest like ENGIFEST, YUVAAN, etc. Every day in college you will find some kind of fest events is going on. Also DTU have too many societies that i don't know all of their names. Infrastructure of DTU is good now days new building and classroom were made this year all of have ACs and digital boards. Also Sport-Complex of dtu is very big having cricket, football, tennis, basketball, vollyball, badminton, indoor stadium and a gym.

Admission :

For admission in any course of engineering in DTU you have to give JEE-MAINS exam and on the basis of your JEE-mains rank you will get admission in DTU. You also have to register in JAC-DELHI counselling which handle admission of DTU, NSUT, IIITD, IGDTUW and DESU. The cutoff of DTU is not very high as in 2023 General closing rank for CSE was 13035 and for Biotech it was 104566

Faculty :

The faculy-to student ration is still low which is around 1 to 75 as the intake of students increases every year it will effect ratio but for now it feels ok. Every faculty of DTU is either a Phd or persuing Phd. They intract very friendly with students and all of them have great teaching skill besides some of teacher somehow are not able to provide all the subject knowledege or content due to less numbers of days in particular semester.

I decided not to choose NSUT because it was far away from my home. The distance would have made commuting difficult and time-consuming. and Electrical Engineering in NSUT was a new branch at that time so it have no placement and academics reports of past,

Good for money not for life

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. In 2024 the highest package till now is 88L per annum and the median package is around 18L per annum.. On campus are good and also off campus placements are also focused. Which is good point!

Unfiltered Truth

Placement Experience:

For 4yr courses like btech students of 7th semester become eligible for campus placements. Tcs, ambuja, mahindra tech and etc.. Companies visited and they made decent number of offers. Highest package is 25 lakhs which offered by amazon. Lowest package is 1.70 lakhs offered by tcs. Percentage of students getting placements is 30%. I wanna join indian army so I will appear for defense exams after the degree

Placement Experience:

The placement of college is quite good. About 60-70% students get placed on placements. Various big companies visited BPIT like MICROSOFT, AMAZON, GOOGLE, etc. The highest package is about 35 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is around 4-5 lakhs. The average package is 8 lakhs per annum.

Dilemma choosing NSUT? Here the analysis

Placement Experience:

Usually the placement session starts in the beginning of the 4th year when the recruiters start coming however some people get PPOs even in the end of 3rd year. How the number of on campus internship is quite less of around 100-200 including all three campuses of NSUT. As of now the a total of 457 companies visited for on campus placements and 1400+ offers were given out of 2500 students in the yr 2023 published by the College administration. The highest package offered was 87 lpa and the average package was around 8-10lpa overall. The placement percentage would be around 60-70% overall but talking about my own ICE branch it had a fantastic percentage of 97%. My plans after getting degree is to getting into either a tech MNC or into a core semiconductor company like Qualcomm, Foxconn, etc.

My experience at DTU

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are good at DTU. Average package in 2023 was 25 LPA. Highest package was 82 LPA for BTech and 51 LPA for MTech. More than 160 companies visited DTU in 2023. Around 91 percent student were placed.

IIT-D review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am interested in mechanicals. There are few courses in which more than one branch studies so more number of students otherwise 70-80 students per faculty. Faculties are well qualified done masters from foreign universities. Some faculties use slides others use chalk and board. There are minors(mid-sem) and majors(end-sem). Other than that there are quizzes ~4 per semester per course.
