Course Curriculum Overview :

i choose chemical engeering as it would give me a platform to do research and work in the field to develop chemical reactors and design equipments and processes for manufacturing products such as gasoline,detergents and paper etc. the curriculum here not only focuses on the academics but also do real life applications on laboratory level and also provide industrial experience through internships .we mid semester and end semester exams and also have quizzes in between .

Class Size : 67Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

the college has many companies visting for hiring students for the internships and placements . amazon , cognizant and many companies as zomato and flipkart give internships in the field of technical and finance .

Placement Experience :

the students become eligible for campus placement from the seventh semester. most get placed in the seventh and eight semester of college . the majors companies visiting iit patna are cognizant,adobe , adani power, amazon , atlassian , bajaj , bpcl, flipkart , samsung , tata, tcs ,hdfc, hcl,wipro ,infosys and many more. the highest package offered was of 1 crore domestic and the average package is of 25 lakhs . 85% students who sit for campus placements get placed . and many go for higher studies . my plan after getting the degree to get placed in PSUs .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

IIT patna is a government funded institute so there is not much fees hike every year. the complete cost of education and living in hostel in iit patna is around 12-15 Lakhs .you can get many schlorships on the basis of your academics and finanical condition . you can get merit cum schlorships in iit patna every year on the basis of acdemic scores.

Campus Life :

the campus life inside iit patna is very . it has a very strong coding cultural which is passed on from juniors to seniors every year. the cultural and technical clubs are very active and regurarly have workshops and sessions. the major fest inside iit patna are ANWESHA which is the cultural fest held in the month of Feburary , CELESTA which is the technical fest held in the month of september and infinito the sports fest held in the month of October .also TEdx events are organised in the month of october only . the library has all the books for the disciplines of engineering . it also has a digital library . the classrooms has smart boards and projectors installed . the physics lab have proper working equipments and also in all others labs such as chemistry and computer labs . the colllege has a proper sports complex which includes football,cricket ground , multiple basketball, badminton ,squashand lawn tennis courts.

Hostel Facilities :

the room allotted have a 3 persons in one room . with all having one bed ,one study table and one cupboard for each individual. there are proper meals provided for every time in breafast, luch and dinner . the menu for the mess food keep on changing every month and is decide by the students only. the registration process happen at the time of admission . you need to pay the fees and show your credentials to complete the registration process and get yourself a room .

Hostel Fee : INR 25000 per year

Admission :

To get into an IIT we need to give JEE ADVANCED exam . It is one of the biggest exam in the country. i came to know the exam from youtube. the exam happen once every year to get qualified for jee advanced you need to qualify jee mains which happens twice a year one around january and one around april .the application fees of jee mains is around 1000 and for jee advanced is around 3200. the syallabus for the exam is PCM of class 11 and 12. yes i availed reservation benefits as i came from SC category so i was selected on the basis of cutoff for SC category. There are diffrent cutoffs for different categories such as general ,general ews ,obc,sc and st categories .

College from my sight.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year I can see that most with the Student start the flying for internship and placement well my college is not that we don't get any campus placement most of us are paced by company which visit institution. Many big companies like grow Tata etc also visit in our campus for placements and they even recruit. Will our placement percentage is very good which is almost 97 98% are getting placed in electronics and communication branch for computer science and engineering it is almost 100% and the placement average above 15 lakhs S4 the electronic and communication branch the placement goes beyond 10 lakh as average. In the initial days when I got admission the highest placement offered was 45 lakhs 7 students by Amazon. But right now I in the institution and I am very great to know that my senior from the 3rd year which got a PPO of 89 lakhs and other one got a PPO of 83 lacs. When for me my plans after graduation is that I should get a good placement and I have not bigger plans.

placemnet of this college is not much better in campus pool but you take placement through alumi of this college ultratech , infosis etc . 50 percentage student get placed you can plan for gate exam to take job in psu etc.

Campus placements start in Aug-Sep and run till Dec-Jan. Students are eligible to sit after the 6th semester. Some companies which visited campus in 2022-2023 placements are: Amazon(7 offers), BYJU's(4 offers), BeeHyv(3 offers), C-DOT (2 offers), Deloitte, Jio Incocomm(6 offers), Macquarie (3 offers), Public Sapients, Synopsis(5 offers), Smart Coin(3 offers), Samsung SDS (5 offers), Nxtwave, Ambient Scientific, etc The avg package for 2022-23 is 15.6 LPA and highest package 46LPA by Amazon Almost 99% of student gets placed.
