Remarks :

My jee advanced rank helped me get electrical branch in this college plus there is a branch change policy which can help me get CSE.The location of the college is also very good which attracted me towards it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is extremely good and very flexible. We can choose our courses accordingly and even make a choice of what to study in which semester. There are a lot of experienced and innovative faculties and to mention one of them professor Srikant who has even one young scientist award.

Course Fees : INR 900000 per year

Placement Experience :

IIT Mandi offers placement and internship for all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. In 2019, 81% students got placed in top-notch companies. CSE has made the highest placement with 54 placed students.Top recruiters included Amazon, Cortex and ISRO.

College Events :

As if now I have spent one and half semester in college which gave me necessary exposure and experience and the campus life has been going very well. Plenty of events take place per semester and two of the major events are Rann neeti and Exodia. Both of them have a footfall of more than 2000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is complete fee waiver of SC, ST and female candidates and they have to only pay hostel fees and mess fees. Moreover the underprivileged students whose family income is less than 1 lakh are also not charged with tution fees.

Campus Life :

One of the most beautiful and scenic campus of India, however it is a bit under-construction which by now might have been completed. The sports facilities are very good with almost every sport oraganized in it.We have a good wifi connection throughout the campus and two sufficient sized libraries.

NIT Hamirpur Review

Placement Experience:

The college provides a quite decent placement. This year highest package was 2 Cr and previous year highest package was 1.73 Cr . More than 40 companies visited.Top recruiters were Samsung ,CRED, Syska,Croma,Oracle , Accenture etc. More than 80 percent students get placed and after my degree I am also thinking of getting placed .

The placement drive begins from the beginning of 7th semester for the four year bachelor's programs. The average package offered in my stream .i.e. Mechanical engineering is about 8-9 lakhs per year. Usually per semester there is two test based upon the credit hours of the subject for example if 1+1 then 10 marks mid term, 50 for practical and final will be of 40 marks and if 2+1 then 15 for mid, 35 for practical and 50 for final examination
