Remarks :
The most important positive remark is the location of the institute which exponentially increases its value. It truly helped me with personal growth. Negative remark would be that the institute is new which also comes with its own challenges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was very good. We were able to gain theoritical knowledge as well as learn how to do research. Also, the subjects were really helpful in preparing for further entrance examination like GATE and NET.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, our college provides internship. But instead of opting for that, I decided to continue my masters research in the time that was available between semesters as our main focus was to have good thesis.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are quite good for students of Mtech and Btech. Us Msc. students however did not get much benefit from camous placement. For that we had to clear GATE exam and then apply for PSU's separately.
College Events :
The main two events celebrated are Exodia (Cultural fest) and Ranneeti (sports fest). All other societies have also their seperate fests like Astronomy club, Hacking club etc. Festivals like Holi, Krishna Janmashtami, diwali etc are also celebrated with full enthusiasm.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is very affordable. The fees of one semester was not that much (inclusive of mess and Hostel) and there was not much gap in the fees of the categories. It was not expensive at all like private universities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yea, the scholarships are given to the toppers of each batch to encourage and appreciate their efforts in working hard. There are also some scholarships available specific to particular categories which were availed by some of my friends.
Campus Life :
All the facilities are amazing. The labs have the latest equipment and are easily accessible on booking basis. The participation of the college in the extra curricular activities is great and good amount of prizes are won every year by the institute.
Hostel Facilities :
Since the institute is still in its construction phase, All the hostel are new and are made with the newest technology. We did not face any problem in the accommodation throughput the degree. The only problem is the commute between two campuses (North and South) which is compensated by regular bus shedule.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes. Some of the alumni recently created their own platform where they can reach out to any other alumni whose information is available. Also, the alumni are very helpful and always respond to whatever enquiry they've been reached with.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure is quite easy and flexible. Whenever one of the students were unavailable due to unavoidable circumstances, the teachers were understanding enough to shift the exam slightly. Also, the grading system is relative and very fair
Admission :
In the first round, we had to clear the eligibility criteria for appearing for the entrance exam, like minimum percentage required in Bachelor's etc. After clearing the cutoff in written exam, I appeared for interview
Faculty :
The faculty was really good and supportive. There was an environment where we could reach up to them any time for their guidance and they never said no. Also, they gave us recommendations for the future.
