Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good as all important subjects to the course are being provided. Even every detail info in that subject is taught and clubs are very participating. Exams are not that tough they are very medium.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placements are good with an average package of around 10- 12 lpa overall and 15-16 lpa for cse branch. Maximum students got placed here. Some students choose to pursue higher degrees instead of going for placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The general category students have to pay full tution fees - 75000 and if you from any category then tution fees is almost less than half and if you have an income certificate of income ranging 1 lac to 5 lac or less than 1 lac then there is also fee waiver. There are several scholarships available which you can check on nit Hamirpur website.

Campus Life :

Overall institute is very good. The computer science is very famous and helps to achieve very good placements. The campus is also very beautiful as it is close to Himalayas. You can fully enjoy your campus life here. There are also many clubs which can help you to gain some good skills and maximum times the clubs have funs so you can have to.

Hostel Facilities :

There are many different hostels for boys and girls. And as for boys ther is change of hostels every year. There are 4 seater and three seater rooms available till third year and each student will get one study table, one chair , one bed , one almirah in your room. You will get single room in your final year of college.. mess quality differs hostel to hostel some of them have average food quality and some of them not.

Hostel Fee : INR 75000 per year

Admission :

In order to enroll in this college you have to clear JEE MAINS with good ranks and then apply fr JOSAA counseling. As for my branch the closing rank for Home state and obc-ncl category was around 30k during my JOSAA counseling.

Faculty :

The Teachers are qualified and experienced the curriculum is designed to make the students industry ready. The semester exams are of medium difficulty, and students generally pass the exams with good marks.

NIT Hamirpur Review

Placement Experience:

The college provides a quite decent placement. This year highest package was 2 Cr and previous year highest package was 1.73 Cr . More than 40 companies visited.Top recruiters were Samsung ,CRED, Syska,Croma,Oracle , Accenture etc. More than 80 percent students get placed and after my degree I am also thinking of getting placed .

The placement drive begins from the beginning of 7th semester for the four year bachelor's programs. The average package offered in my stream .i.e. Mechanical engineering is about 8-9 lakhs per year. The placements depend upon the students knowledge and grades. And the placement percentage of college is above 75%.

Placement Experience:

Like from the the 7th semester we are eligible to sit in placement process. Companies like vegazva, khanna paper mill, shree cement etc. companies visited in campus. And the highest package as like i mentioned the company visited in campus giving us 4lpa for 2-3 years then it is increased as per the candidate performance.

A realistic experience at NIT Hamirpur

Placement Experience:

A clear picture is not shown to the website of my college as well as student studying at it. However after consulting through our seniors, we get to know that various big companies visits our college. The highest package is about 60 lakhs but average is around 10 lakhs
