How You Can Download Answer Key?

The answer Key can be downloaded from the official site using the steps indicated below:

• Step 1: Visit WBJEE official website wbjeeb.nic.in.
• Step 2: Find the link “View/Challenge Answer Key’ (A sample image of the window has been provided below).
• Step 3: Sign in with your application number, password and security pin.
• Step 4: Click on the required link.
• Step 5: Answer key will be displayed on the screen in PDF Format
• Step 6: Download the answer key and verify the answers.

Note: WBJEE Board also provides the opportunity to challenge any response in official answer keys by paying a stipulated fee.

How to Access OMR Sheet Responses?

WBJEE 2024 OMR Sheet response is shown as A/B/C/D in the case of Category I and Category II questions. Unattempted questions are marked as “ – “. In Category III questions, the response is shown as “A – – D”. “*” shows that multiple answers have been given for the question. Candidates can claim reviews of any number of responses with a non-refundable payment of INR 500 per response. The board will review candidate claims and decide. The scores and ranks shall be calculated based on the final reviewed responses and the board's decision regarding the review claims will be considered final in the matter.

How to Challenge Answer Key and OMR Sheet Responses?

By following the following steps, one can check OMR Sheet Images and Machine read responses:

• Step 1: Visit official website.
• Step 2: Locate the link for checking WBJEE 2024 OMR Sheet Images and Machine read responses on the website.
• Step 3: Enter the issued registration number, password and security pin.
• Step 4: All the recorded responses/ OMR sheets/ images will appear on the screen.
• Step 5: Verify with the answers given in answer key
• Step 6: Click on the Submit button.
• Step 7: Payment of INR 500 needs to be made by the applicant in case a candidate decides to challenge against any response in the key.

Calculation of Score Using Answer Key

Candidates can calculate their anticipated scores in the entrance test once they have downloaded WBJEE Answer Key 2024 and their OMR Sheet Response Image. However, since the pattern and scoring system of the exam  is not completely uniform, it is advisable to first familiarize yourself with both of them. Given below is the section-wise distribution of questions, marks allotted and the different categories in which they are divided.

Now, all that candidates need to do is to calculate their scores for correct and incorrect scores separately for each category of questions and use the following formula to calculate their scores:
