WBJEE 2025 syllabus consists of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Mathematics has the maximum weightage as most of the questions are asked from this section. The complete syllabus will be available on the official website i.e. https://wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee/.
You are advised to check the official website for syllabus and exam pattern before starting the preparation. The exam will be conducted in April, 2025.
The exam is conducted in paper 1 and paper 2. It is a state level examination conducted for admission in undergraduate programs such as Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in government and self-financing universities in West Bengal. Each section is equally important in the exam but Mathematics has the maximum weightage. Subject-wise weightage is presented below for your reference.

What is the exam pattern of WBJEE 2025 exam?
The exam is conducted in paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 includes only mathematics and paper 2 includes Physics and Chemistry. It is an offline examination where you will be given an OMR sheet where you have to put your responses. The exam will be conducted in Bengali and English languages. The total marks will be 200 from which 100 will be from Mathematics and 100 will be for Physics & Chemistry. A total of 155 questions will be there in the question paper. You will be given 2 hours for paper 1 and 2 hours for paper 2.
What is the category in the WBJEE exam?
There will be three categories in both the papers in the exam. The categories are mentioned below.
Category 1: one mark questions with one correct answer
Category 2: Two mark questions with one correct answer
Category 3: Two marks question with more than one correct answer

How to prepare for WBJEE 2025 exam?
The exam will be conducted in April 2025 so you have enough time to be prepared for the exam. You can make a time limit for each subject and try to finish that within the specified time. You need to focus on Mathematics as maximum questions will be asked in this section. You need to practice some important topics like Sets, Relations and Functions, Limit, Continuity & Differentiability, Application of Derivatives, Integration, Straight line, Circle, Hyperbola, Parabola, Ellipse, Areas under the Curve, Complex Number, Frictions, Matrix and Determinants.
You must focus on some important topics in Chemistry such as S, P, D, F Block, GOC, Nomenclature, Isomerism, Equilibrium, Solutions and some others. For Physics you need to study Electromagnetism and Electrostatic as maximum questions will be asked from these chapters. Solving PYQs and MCQs will help you to improve your speed and accuracy. You must give at least three revisions before the exam.

Ans: To score above 70 you need to be hard working and dedicated. Minimum 6-8 months is needed to prepare for this exam.
