WBJEE 2024 Total Marks
As per WBJEE 2024 Exam Pattern, candidates are awarded marks in WBJEE based on the marking scheme:
- There are three categories of questions in WBJEE Question Paper.
- Category I- each question carries 1 mark while 1 mark is deducted for 4 incorrect answers.
- Category II- each question carries 2 marks while 1 mark is deducted for 2 incorrect answers.
- Category III- each question carries 2 marks. However, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
WBJEE scores for B.Tech admissions are calculated considering both Paper 1 (Maths) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry) marks. However, for B.Pharm only Paper 2 scores are required. Therefore the total marks for WBJEE is 200 for B.Tech admissions and 100 for B.Pharm admissions.
