Preparation Tips from Toppers
Cracking WBJEE is not an easy task as the competition and difficulty level of WBJEE is high. Each year the number of students increases, which makes the competition more difficult. However, with deep motivation and hard work, students can achieve great scores in WBJEE 2024. Here are some preparation tips suggested by the toppers.
- Be familiar with Exam Pattern: Apart from syllabus candidates should also understand exam Pattern. They should know the type of questions asked, marks distribution of each section, duration of exam, and the number of questions asked in the paper.
- Stick to the Study Material: Candidates should ensure that they stick to the study material for studying the basics of syllabus 2024. However, students should also solve different questions and understand tips and tricks to solve WBJEE 2023 fast.
- Prepare a proper study timetable: Candidates need to prepare a proper study timetable and follow it strictly right from the beginning. The time table should have proper slots for each topic of the subject and also ensure that time is left for revision at the end. More time should be devoted for subjects that students feel they need to practice more.
- Focus on understanding the concepts: It is important to have a clear understanding of the concepts as this will help them to attempt even difficult questions. With a proper understanding of the formulas and concepts, candidates will be able to solve most of the questions easily and will find them interesting as well.
- Solve practice papers: After completing the syllabus, candidates should practice solving the previous year’s question papers and mock tests. This will help them manage their time properly during the examination and give them a better understanding of the exam papers.
- Revise the syllabus: After completion of each topic from the syllabus , it’s suggested to revise it. Students can keep a month or two before the exam for revisions. Also, revisions can be done fast if they make short notes during their preparations and use them for revisions.
- Take short breaks: Candidates should include short breaks to do some mind relaxing activities such as going for a walk, watching a movie, or playing sports. Besides, candidates must pay attention to their health and ensure proper eating and sleeping. A twenty-minute meditation session can be of great help.
