The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to close the submission window for the List of Candidates (LOC) shortly. Schools must submit the LOC with the regular fee by October 4, 2024. Only students who completed the registration within the specified time period will be issued their admit cards.
- The details provided in the registration form will be mentioned on CBSE Class 10 Admit Card.
- A student will be allowed to appear only for the subjects that are filled during registration.
CBSE Class 10 Registration process is considered complete only upon the payment of the registration fee. The registration fee for the general category is Rs. 1500 for 5 subjects. An extra amount of Rs. 300 per subject is charged per additional subject.
Schools can edit the LOC form and make required corrections through the CAMC portal. The portal will be activated by the 1st week of January, 2025(tentative).
To make the corrections, schools must pay Rs. 1000 per candidate as a penalty fee. Once the corrections are submitted successfully, these are sent to the regional officer for approval. However, while making the corrections, schools are not allowed to change candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth. CBSE Class 10 Registration Process 2024
CBSE Class 10 Registration for regular students is done by the respective school authorities. Eligible students have to submit their details to their schools along with the required fee. Schools will then register their candidates on the official website through the below steps:
Step 1: Go to the main website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in.
Step 2: Now click on the Pariksha Sangam tab. A new window will open up.
Step 3: Go to the ‘Pre Exam Activities’ option.
Step 4: Click on the ‘LOC Class X and XII’ link.
Step 5: Log in with your credentials – user ID and password.

CBSE Class 10 LOC Form Correction
CBSE Class 10 LOC correction process will open in January, 2025 (tentative). Schools must follow the below steps to edit the LOC form:
- Go to the CAMC portal for LOC correction – https://cbseit.in/cbse/2022/precorr/Index.aspx.
- Choose the ‘School Login’ option.
- Log in with your affiliation number, password, and captcha code.
- Select the candidate and open the LOC form to make the necessary changes.
- Submit your changes and pay Rs. 1000 as the correction fee.
The corrections are verified by a Regional Officer before they are finally approved.
CBSE Class 10 Supplementary Registration Form 2024
CBSE Board releases separate application forms for compartment exams. Compartment exams are conducted for those students who fail in less than three subjects in the CBSE class 10 board examination. CBSE Class 10 Registration 2025: Important Instructions
The registration process is mandatory for a student to appear in the board examinations. All the CBSE-affiliated schools have to submit a list of students appearing for the exam to the board after due cross-checking all the details.
Some important instructions to be considered while submitting the registration form include:
- Make sure the spelling of the name of the Student/Mother/Father/Guardian is exactly the same as mentioned in the birth certificate.
- The candidate’s date of birth must be the same as mentioned in the birth certificate and maintained as per the admission and withdrawal register by the school.
