CBSE Class 10 Social Science Syllabus has been released for the academic year 2024-25. You can download the NCERT full syllabus from the official website, cbseacademic.nic. The Social Science syllabus has four sections: 1. History, 2. Political Science 3. Geography and 4. Economics
The mark weightage is divided evenly among the subjects. The total paper is 80 marks and each section carries 20 marks. Internal assessment carries 20 marks, which have a different syllabus.

The History (India and Contemporary World II) and Economics (Understanding Economic Development) syllabus don’t have any deleted chapters. Q. Has there been any reduction in the CBSE Class 10 Social Science syllabus for this academic year?
Ans. The syllabus for the academic year 2024-2025 is the same as that of the academic year 2023-24. No changes have been made in the CBSE Class 10 SST syllabus. The History (India and Contemporary World II) and Economics (Understanding Economic Development) syllabus don’t have any deleted chapters.
