Likes
- The infrastructue of this college is good, all the amenities have been provided by the college.
- As the college is autonomous, the curriculum is different from Mumbai University, and hence more revelant things are being added on from this year.
Dislikes
- The mindset of the student here is in the path of masters, and so very less like-minded students will be there; if you want to persue programming.
- The college has mandatory 75% attendance, due to which overall development / placement studies become hard.
Placement Experience:
1) The student becomes eligible for the placement from the 7th semester. 2) From this year, the college is only allowing companies with salary packages above 5 LPA. 3) More than 500 students apply for a company's online assessment, and still only 20-30 students get selected for the next round. 4) Up till now, the highest package is 19 LPA (at JP Morgan Chase & Co). 5) According to the past placement campaign, more than 100 companies visited Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, but how much of this information is true, is still not known.

- College has good infrastructure one of the best in mumbai
- Classrooms have AC well equipped lab and clean washroom
Dislikes
- Hostels doesn't provide mess facilities also they are increasing their charges per year
- Campus is to small plus no playgrounds to play
Placement Experience:
Placement is quite good avarage salary is 5 lakh per anum while Highest is 44 lkh per anum offered by Amazon companies like Accenture Capgemini Infosys TCS Oracle are come for placement recruitment this year flipkart is also coming. College have active Training and placement cell

- I have like the books in the library room
- I like the canteen food and the variety of food.
Dislikes
- I don't like the faculty of the college and the staff
- I don't like the placement cell of the college it don't gives proper training and charges alot for training which is 3700 which is compulsory in order to sit for placement.
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester the companies come for recruitment. The companies come in the college are Infosys, Cognizant, Capegimini, Oracle, Zycus. Very less number of students are able to get placement from the college. The people who don't get placement opt for higher studies, try for off campus placement. The lowest package offered is 180000. The average package offered is 300000.

- College management work, lot of paperwork
- College is focused more on marketing than tha quality of education
Placement Experience:
The students were allowed to sit forncampus placements from 7th semester of their engin. The college placement was affected by recession similar to other colleges. The numbers were not that good when compared to previous year. Although training and placement cell was successful in getting companies like TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Colgate, etc. Approx percentage of students offered were 60%. I'm still in search of job after completing my degree.
Likes
- It has all the thing you need like reading room, free wifi, library, huge canteen,etc
- It provide 95% placementver the top IT company with the minimum package of 20 lac per annum
Dislikes
- It is situated in village in place and also far from Kandivali station
- It has high cooling AC room which sometimes make you feel like antartica
Placement Experience:
Thakur College of Engineering and Technology is what most famous for:- 1) Architect and Resources 2) placements Thakur college makes you the promise of getting A1 company as per your engagements over your specialized skill set and motive to work for those company One thing is that TCET offers E&TC students to sit in placements at IT companies as well
Likes
- Good campus with enough space a lush garden to relax and study at the same time it is quite spacious with a tree at centre as well.
- The students are well cultured and well behaved and helpful as well. Never faced any negative interaction with anyone in the college premises for the past 1 year that I've been here.
Dislikes
- Not all the faculties are experienced some faculties are inexperienced especially for the first year students.
- Although the reading room is spacious the library is quite small and isn't even air conditioned.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placement from 6th semester. Big companies that visit TCET includes JP Morgan Chase & co and infyTQ which are quite popular and give average packages of 17.5 lpa and 10 lpa respectively. The complete average package including every company that visits is around 4-5 lpa. 100% placement*. After getting degree I might go for higher studies through gate and pursue my masters in computer science.

- Tcet provides amazing infrastructure as compared to other colleges in Mumbai Suburban
- Library has many varieties of books and students also get access to digital library
Dislikes
- Placement can be improved. Return on investment is very less
- College fees is very high but also scholarships are available
Placement Experience:
Campus Placement are Good if your Academics is Good enough like you score 8+ percentile above Nearly in 6th Semester Placement process starts Tnp training and placement cells provide all basic and Required skills for seating in Campus Placement Interviews Highest Package is 40 Lac per annum Last year It's all depend on Students Performance in interviews

- The college had very good infrastructure including inside and outside, the toilets were very well cleaned and maintained.
- The college has got ample amount of space for students to hang out which includes a small garden.
Dislikes
- The College has very good competitive faculty group but some facilities are not that good in teaching and communicating with the Students
- The college canteen has a very wide range of options but according to me the hygiene levels could be more better
Placement Experience:
From what i have heard the placements are good in the college and most of the students get placed by the traning and placement cell with the placement % of approx 80%. The highest placement of the recent phase was 44lpa off campus and 22lpa on campus.
Likes
- Tcet has better infrastructure as compared to other engineering colleges in Mumbai Suburbs
- As it is autonomous college it's easy to score in exams
Dislikes
- Some of the facility are untrained and don't teach properly
- Placements are not as good as expected .
Placement Experience:
Students can start doing internship from end of their first year. Placements needs some improvement. Accenture,zydus and oracle are major recruiters. However some students gets placed in JP Morgan as well. Students opting for off campus grab higher package upto 30 LPA

- Classrooms are very spacious. Projector is present in every classroom.
- Infrastructure of labs is excellent. 2-4 air conditioners are present in every lab.
Dislikes
- Internship and placement opportunities needs improvement.
- Few teachers are unwilling to teach in classroom as well as in labs.
Placement Experience:
Average package offered is around 5 LPA. Not every student is placed. JP Morgan is one of the recruiting companies. Highest package offered is around 15 LPA. Students opting for off campus placements usually grab higher packages.
