Fees and Financial Aid:

the fees is nearly 170000 for a year. but you can avail the scholarships provided by the government of maharashtra which will bring it down by almost 50%. If you beling to any category your fees could go as low as 29000 for VJNT i believe. well you can find this on the website

I disliked the hactic course curriculum of my college
I disliked that my college want us to give three ISEs( internal semester exam) in a single semester and one IE (innovative examination) and than finally End sem exam

For general category, fees is 1,59,000 for 1 year. But yes in my college there is a government scholarship scheme known as EBC(Economically Backward Classes) where Of your father's income is less than 8 LPA than you can avail this by submitting required documents such as income certificate, I'd proof, 10th and 12th marksheet, etc. So by applying that one's fees become 97,000 approx. And that same fees is applied for obc candidates also..

Want to know about TCET have a look!

The average fee per year is 150000/- excluding Miscellaneous amounts. One can avail various government scholarships like EBC, etc and also one can apply for EWS( Eonomically weaker section) seats. Other than this college also offers their own scholarship to students comi from weak and diverse backgrounds. Also college has bad habit of charging unnecessary fees for admission form and exam forms.

TCET is better than IIT(iykyk)

Every year college tuition fees is around 148500 and other fees include University fees of around 5000 but there is a scholarship called EBC for students admitted through CAP round and having family annual income lesser than 8 Lakhs. They get 50% tution fees and 50% exam fees that is around 65k reimbursement from government. Also there is a scholarship for students who didn't avail EBC due to maybe not admitted through CAP round but have family income less than 8 Lakhs cab get financial assistance from Thakur Trusts, TSDW funds or Alumni association funds.

Life inside TCET

Students can easily avail different types of scholarships such as TFWS,SC/ST scholarships,EWS and EBC type of scholarships in the college. Unfortunately there aren't any campus employment opportunities for students. The complete cost of the education without scholarship is about 148500 but it becomes 40% less after scholarships

I'm absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2020, and awesome infrastructure and facilities etc. And value for money too....

About the past years, the placement rate is 70-80%, but in the year 2020 90% of the students got placed ....and the highest,lowest and the average package offered in our course is 30 LPA, 4 LPA, 5LPA....The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, MuSigma, Amazon, Asian Paints and many more... Most of the students got internship also... There are many roles like Backend and Frontend Developers, and so many... And Placement rate is good here...
