1) The student becomes eligible for the placement from the 7th semester. 2) From this year, the college is only allowing companies with salary packages above 5 LPA. 3) More than 500 students apply for a company's online assessment, and still only 20-30 students get selected for the next round. 4) Up till now, the highest package is 19 LPA (at JP Morgan Chase & Co). 5) According to the past placement campaign, more than 100 companies visited Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, but how much of this information is true, is still not known.

TIMSR ensures that students have good access to internships, and the practical experience gained during these stints is invaluable. The internships offer hands-on experience and help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications. These opportunities are crucial for building practical skills and often lead to pre-placement offers (PPO) if you perform well.

The college does not provide any internship to students. We have to find internship on our own. Some links for paid internship are shared by the peer group themselves for which students pay to do internship. Some of those companies are prodigy Infotech, Mainflow services, Codsoft, Octanet service.

Unpaid internships start from first year itself and give students industry practice and paid outhouse internships start from 3rd year with average stipend of around 1000 per month some even go as high as 5000 per month from the same companies that offer jobs and college also supports off campus internships from which students can benefit. College also provides funds for projects and other innovative work done by students in order to encourage them to engage in such activities.

There are various in-house and outhouse internship opportunities provided by the college, internships can be paid or unpaid depending on the skills the student has. I would still suggest you to look for an internship outside of the college.
