I am going to major in HR and minor in operations. I have chosen this as I am interested in this field. Student to faculty ratio is 12:1. We have different credit courses and we have teaching that is in synchronous and asynchronous methods and we have 10% of classes are online. Faculties teach through ppt, case studies, and class presentation we also have group and individual assignments. Term exams are every 2 - 2.5 months. There is nothing as pass it's based on relative grading as long as you are above average you can enjoy to the fullest.

I chose this course because of its non-specific focus on a single component it covers human resource management as well as finance management & operation management. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:10 Some faculty here are from top-tier institutes like IIM Ahmedabad and others have vast industry experience. Term Exam are held in timely fashion and because of relative grading it's comparatively difficult to pass than under graduate.

I choose PGDM course as i wanted to pursue my career in Management. There are around 300 students in PGDM Core. The teaching pedagogy is good and has helped me gain knowledge about the new technologies and techniques which are currently used. The term exams are usually a bit stressful but as the days goes, we will get adjusted to that stress and can easily handle the term exams well.

The course curriculum is highly learning oriented. The emphasis is given on all domains: HR, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. The course works on a trimester basis. That means, three terms per academic year.

Choosing GIM's PGDM was a strategic move for me. The curriculum is dynamic, constantly evolving to reflect current business trends. Core courses in finance, marketing, and strategy provide a strong foundation, while electives let you specialize in areas like analytics, entrepreneurship, or sustainability. Plus, the faculty-student ratio of around 1:15 ensures personalized attention. Professors are industry veterans and academic thought leaders, bringing real-world expertise to the classroom. Their diverse qualifications – doctorates from top global universities, industry experience with MNCs and startups – enrich the learning experience. Teaching methods are interactive, with case studies, simulations, and guest lectures keeping things engaging. Term exams were generally on schedule, with a two-week window for preparation. Difficulty varies depending on the course and professor, but thorough preparation and utilizing faculty guidance ensured I passed comfortably.

I chose the course to develop a holistic learning of all the domains in my first year and then decide what to major and minor in, in the second year. It will also make it easy for me to switch across domains later on due to a general MBA degree. 1:4 approximately is the faculty: Student Ratio Most of the faculties have a Ph.D. from prominent institutes. Their teaching methodology is fairly decent to very good across all the subjects. Term exams happen almost every 2.5-3rd month. Some subjects are difficult to pass but so far the students have been doing well. Ultimately if the annual GPA has some discrepancy then a student might fail. We are yet to witness any such circumstance.

- The overall program is divided in 6 terms, 3 each year. Every term has about 8-9 subjects to be studied. - This is the flagship program of GIM that offers a comprehensive overview of almost every domain in the first year and lets you choose your specialization based on your interest in the 2nd year. - The faculty student ratio here is 1:12 - All the faculties here have completed their PHDs. There is a mix of highly experienced and new faculties. Most of them use case-based learning methods along with theory based lectures. - Exams are conducted twice every term ( Mid-term and End-term exams), they are moderately difficult, can be passed by almost everyone.

The faculties of the college are very knowledgeable and experienced. All the faculties are PhDs and they follow a very good pedagogy including case study learning. The exams are always case-based and applicative in nature so the difficulty level is high.
GIM is definitely better for Marketing specialization due to factors like location, small batch size, and past records.

For a PGDM FS, KJ Somaiya is the best option among these. The institute has a locational advantage since it is situated at the financial hub of the country, i.e. Mumbai. KJ Somaiya placements are great. According to the 2022 interim placement report, the average CTC offered to the students was INR 10.25 LPA, while the highest CTC offered was INR 26.50 LPA.
Between GIM and SIIB, the letter offers better industrial relations and better job roles in campus placements.
