- The campus life is fun. There are a huge number of activities to do in college.
- The campus is very beautiful. It is nestled on top of a hill with lush greenery all around.
- The hostels are comfortable and pretty decent.

- Certain faculties are new and inexperienced.
Placement Experience:
In the first year, students are eligible for summer internship placements from the first term onwards. Decent number of companies visit the campus and offer roles across various domains. The placement committee provides good placement support.

- This place is far from the main city so to get anything we have to travel sorm kms
Placement Experience:
It's quite good it depends from when companies come to college. We have 100% placement. Profiles offered depends on the branches and roles that students want. I want to work for 5-6 years and then start my own company.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because of its non-specific focus on a single component it covers human resource management as well as finance management & operation management.
Faculty : student ratio is around 1:10
Some faculty here are from top-tier institutes like IIM Ahmedabad and others have vast industry experience.
Term Exam are held in timely fashion and because of relative grading it's comparatively difficult to pass than under graduate.

Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for the placements from the second trimester for internships and fifth trimester for the final placements. There are various companies such as GEP, Barclays, JPMC, Deloitte, ABC, etc coming to campus for placements. The average package is around 15 Lakhs per annum.

- The campus is amazing. It’s widespread across more than 50 acres and has all amenities available.
- There are all sorts of sports facilities such as football court, gym, swimming pool, tennis court, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, cricket pitch and other indoor games.
Dislikes
- The distance from the city is quite a lot. Therefore, for the students to go to Goa or visit the beaches, it is a long drive.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is highly learning oriented. The emphasis is given on all domains: HR, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. The course works on a trimester basis. That means, three terms per academic year.

Choosing GIM's PGDM was a strategic move for me. The curriculum is dynamic, constantly evolving to reflect current business trends. Core courses in finance, marketing, and strategy provide a strong foundation, while electives let you specialize in areas like analytics, entrepreneurship, or sustainability. Plus, the faculty-student ratio of around 1:15 ensures personalized attention.
Professors are industry veterans and academic thought leaders, bringing real-world expertise to the classroom. Their diverse qualifications – doctorates from top global universities, industry experience with MNCs and startups – enrich the learning experience. Teaching methods are interactive, with case studies, simulations, and guest lectures keeping things engaging.
Term exams were generally on schedule, with a two-week window for preparation. Difficulty varies depending on the course and professor, but thorough preparation and utilizing faculty guidance ensured I passed comfortably.

- Relative grading can make people really competitive and at times you might feel left alone
- The mess food sometimes, there are days when all the good dishes are made together and some days when you need to go to the pay and eat canteen
- the case competition culture can further gear up.
Placement Experience:
The Summer Internship process starts at the fag end of term 1. All the placement-related details are again mentioned on the website, including the number of companies visited and all other relevant information.

Placement Experience:
The placement for summer internship starts from first semester itself along with final year placements.
Many companies including major industry leaders visit the campus for placements.
The previous highest package being 27 lacks and average being 15 lakhs.
The placements has been 100%.

- Inrastructure is good, the classrooms are well equipped and offer a comfortable learning experience.
- Breakfast is the best meal of the day, can't miss that.

- There are no attached washrooms in the hostel rooms
- The weather is either very hot (It is GOA, ofcourse it is) or it rains heavily
Placement Experience:
The placement record has been 100% for years now. The SIP process begins in the first year and final placement process starts in the early-middle of second year. The highest package went upto 55 Lacs last year, lowest was around 12 Lacs.
I plan to take direct placement from the college and start my corporate career.

To rate a specific school, there are five parameters to be seen -
- Faculty & Curriculum - The curriculum at all the B-schools is more or less similar. The difference lies in the type of faculty. The faculty-student ratio at GIM is 17:1 and the faculty is undoubtedly flattering.
- Peer Group – The cut-off for GIM’s CAT and XAT is nearly 85-88 marks. This attracts students who have a lot of talent and potential and belong to different backgrounds. The age barrier is not much for GIM as well. Therefore, GIM provides one of the best peers for further studies.
- Infrastructure – Goa Institute of Management has one of the best campuses across all West India and it is considered as the state of the art.
- Industry Interaction and Placements – The college offers an average package of almost 9.5 lakhs and the highest package goes up to 25.6 lakhs and that is why the placements seem satisfactory.
- Alumni -With alumnus settled in different industries with different portfolios, the Goa Institute of Management is considered satisfactory in this aspect too.
- Other Factors – Goa Institute of Management is accredited by AACSB and it also has an international exchange program collaborated with the University of Antwerp, Warsaw University of Technology Business School, Poland and Hochschule, Germany.
GIM also offers an internship which is in collaboration with the University of Antwerp. It is called The Joint International Internship Seminar (JIIS). The intensive Joint International Internship Seminar is a two-week program. This program is held every year in September.
Students that belong to Belgium and those of GIM work together on the practical projects in Goa. The program gives an opportunity to the students to have a work experience
GIM also has foreign language courses for its full-time students. These courses are offered in French, Portuguese, German, and Spanish. They are offered in collaboration with Alliance Francaise De Goa, Instituto Camões, Panjim and Indo–German Educational and Cultural Society and Communicare, Goa respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that GIM is one of the best Tier 3 colleges in India.
