  • Certain faculties are new and inexperienced.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is designed in a manner that it is relevant with the constantly evolving world. The course is heavily dependent on case studies and business simulations making the classroom very interactive and immersive. The college boasts a team of experienced and qualified faculty members with industry experience and research expertise.

Internships Opportunities :

The college provides placement support for summer internships. A decent number of companies visit the college, big names included and offer internships across multiple domains. The placement committee even grooms the students for the process.

Placement Experience :

In the first year, students are eligible for summer internship placements from the first term onwards. Decent number of companies visit the campus and offer roles across various domains. The placement committee provides good placement support.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are to be paid in 3 comfortable installments, of which first two are to be paid in the first year and the third installment is to be paid at the start of second year. Scholarships are awarded to meritorious worth 5 lacs each.

Campus Life :

The social life at GIM is very vibrant. There are various clubs ranging from analytics to culture, sports, finance and more. The infrastructure of GIM has plenty to offer for everyone. The library is replete with books from the top authors and publications. The campus has facility for sports like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, tennis, etc. Different events are being conducted year round. The classrooms have state of the art technology. The best thing about GIM, it is an entirely student run campus.

Hostel Facilities :

There are total 9 hostels in GIM. For the first year, students have to stay in twin sharing rooms. The rooms are quite spacious with a seperate bed, study table, wardrobe and shoe stand for each occupant. Second year students get a single occupancy room. Hostel allotment happens before the students join the college. Students could even opt for individual air conditioned rooms in the first year by paying extra but they are very limited in number. The mess food is quite decent with a lot of varieties. There are two types of menu everyday, they are Indian and continental.

Admission :

I had given the CAT examination and scored 95.36 percentile. There is no sectional cutoff for this college. 80 is the cutoff for cat. The details about the application form, fees and application dates can be easily found on the GIM college website. The admission process was very smooth and it was conducted without any confusion. My interview was in the afternoon slot and the interview lasted for about 15 minutes.

Interview Experience :

First, a written test was conducted. We were given two topics and we had to write around 200-250 words on any one of the topic. There was no group discussion. The next round was a personal interview. I prepared by going through my profile thoroughly and reading about the current affairs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of its non-specific focus on a single component it covers human resource management as well as finance management & operation management. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:10 Some faculty here are from top-tier institutes like IIM Ahmedabad and others have vast industry experience. Term Exam are held in timely fashion and because of relative grading it's comparatively difficult to pass than under graduate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing GIM's PGDM was a strategic move for me. The curriculum is dynamic, constantly evolving to reflect current business trends. Core courses in finance, marketing, and strategy provide a strong foundation, while electives let you specialize in areas like analytics, entrepreneurship, or sustainability. Plus, the faculty-student ratio of around 1:15 ensures personalized attention. Professors are industry veterans and academic thought leaders, bringing real-world expertise to the classroom. Their diverse qualifications – doctorates from top global universities, industry experience with MNCs and startups – enrich the learning experience. Teaching methods are interactive, with case studies, simulations, and guest lectures keeping things engaging. Term exams were generally on schedule, with a two-week window for preparation. Difficulty varies depending on the course and professor, but thorough preparation and utilizing faculty guidance ensured I passed comfortably.
