- IMI Delhi 18-month PGDM program will also commence in July 2024.
- IMI Delhi PGDM online admission 2024 is open and the last date to apply is July 03, 2024, and the course will commence on September 01, 2024.
- IMI Delhi was ranked 8th by IIRF Ranking 2024 among the top private institutes in India. The Institute also ranked 84th as per FT MIM rankings 2023.

About IMI Delhi
IMI Delhi is India's first corporate-sponsored business school established in 1981. The college is ranked 34th by NIRF 2023 in Management category and 8th in Top Private B-Schools by IIRF 2024. IMI Delhi offers PGDM, PGDM (HRM), PGDM (B&FS), 18 - Month PGDM (Executives), and FPM (Doctoral Program).
IMI Delhi Fees for PGDM is INR 20.95 Lakhs and admission to the PGDM program is offered on the basis of CAT/ XAT/ GMAT score. IMI Delhi Admission for PGDM is a 2-stage process, i.e at stage 1 applicants are assessed on the basis of entrance exam score and academic profile of the candidate. In phase 2, selected candidates are further called for a Personal Assessment process (Essay Writing + Personal Interview). The CAT cutoff for admission to IMI Delhi was 90 percentile.
Apart from the flagship PGDM program, IMI Delhi also offers PGDM program in HRM (Human Resource Management) & B&FS (Banking & Financial Services). The college offers a 2 year Executive PGDM program. For admission I applied on IMI portal where I submitted my CAT and XAT score and got shortlisted for GD and PI. The cut off is around 65-70 so I got selected and then I paid the first installment after which I started my college

- The Hostel which too comfortable with AC and Non AC both.
- Bathroom is also good , rarely there is any water related issue.

- College doesn't spend much of events and fests

The eligibility is 60 percentile in Cat and 75 in Cmat and also there is trimester based exams and there is 3 months gap will be provided between ending of 1st year and starting of 2nd and students will complete there Summer Internship between that tenure.

- Mess food can be improved. Some days it's good some days it's not.
- The campus is situated on the outskirts of the city

The admission process was smooth. It includes a Group Discussion round followed by a Written ability test and Personal Interview. The cutoff for CAT is 70%ile. The college also accepts other entrance exams such as XAT and CMAT. There are reservation benefits as well as scholarship too.

- I loved the hostel as it has AC rooms and washing mechine room. Guards are there to take care of us.
- It is a beautiful campus with lush greenery.

- Attendance pressure. Sometimes it gets too much to handle.
- Hectic schedule. Sometimes it becomes exhausting.
Admission:
As I study PGDM in IMI Bhubaneswar, I opted here through CMAT where I had 89.85 percentile. I applied here and then got interview call. It is a profile based college so cut off is not the only thing upon which you will be evaluated. I got PI call within a week. I had my PI . Basic questions were asked. As I am a student of English literature inwas asked about that as well. Then I had WAT where I was given a topic and I had to write immediately by sharing my screen. Within a week or so I got my call letter. Considering the brand and also residential campus I opted for it.

The eligibility criteria of the course was 60+ percentile. The application form and the various details regarding the fee structure is available in the college website. There is scholarship opportunities for the reservation class in they are in the merit list. Exams are held in or after 1 or 1.5 months interval along with the presentations. The addmission process is very smooth.

THE DISSION PROCESS OF IMI BHUBANESWAR WAS PREETY SIMPLE. FIRSTLY, YOU HAVE TO GET THE REQUIRED PERCENTILE IN ANY OF THE EXAM LIKE CAT,CMAT,XAT. THEN YOU HAVE TO GOTHROUGH THE GD AND THEN FINAL INTERVIEW. AFTER THAT YOU WILL GET THE OFFER LETTER AND YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT THE REQUIRED AMOUNT.

Is IMI Delhi worth joining now given the increase in batch size?
Increasing batch size is a problem for many B Schools these days, be it old IIMs, MDI, IMT, or IMI. An increase in batch size in turn causes increased pressure on infrastructure, placements, and overall performance of the institute. Now the problem is if all the main factors like placements and infrastructure are being affected in B Schools, what should be the other criteria to be considered? Some of them are listed below
- How old am the institute is
- What reputation did the institute have in the past
- The locational advantage
- The alumni base
- The placement reports of the last 3-5 years
- The negative comments on the school can be cleared by contacting the school directly or through alumni
- Check if the top percentiles and your own profile have many differences or not. Repeat the same with the lower percentiles.
- Lastly, follow your inner instinct as it will give you a proper insight
So we can safely conclude that a high batch does not necessarily mean a problem. An old school can easily tackle this problem efficiently.
Is it true that only sale profiles are offered in IMI Delhi?
During 2016, IMI witnessed an increase in batch size from 240 to 360. This took place under the discretion of the then Director General Padma Shree Dr. Bakul Dholakia, who was responsible for affairs during that time. Throughout his tenure, IMI excelled and the NIRF Rankings and Placement Reports during that time are a testament to the same. After this, he left but his work was in progress.
Post this scenario, the corporate world was struck with demonetization, and falling banking sectors and this combined with increased batch size caused havoc and created immense pressure on the placement cell. The placement figures saw a drastic fall despite being the hub of Finance.
However, IMI Delhi stood strong in those difficult times, bore the brunt of the crisis, and managed to secure 100% placement during that batch. The only slight drawback it faced was the reduction in the number of recruiters.
The number of business development profiles like banking, IT, marketing, and consulting roles, increased miraculously.

The highest package increased by 56% to INR 50 LPA & the average package increased by 15% to INR 17.01 LPA. 100+ recruiters participated in the placement drive. IMI Delhi Summer Internship Placements 2024 is also concluded. The highest stipend stood at INR 2.80 Lakhs & the average stipend stood at INR 73 K. IMT Ghaziabad's 2023 placements concluded on a high note, securing 100% placement for all students. Compared to the previous year, the highest package saw a significant jump of 5.8% to reach an impressive INR 65.6 LPA. The average package also witnessed a remarkable increase of 13.4% to reach INR 17.35 LPA. Additionally, students received a noteworthy 75 pre-placement offers. Over 150 recruiters participated in the season, with 40% being new companies joining the process for the first time. Renowned organizations like Amazon, Bain & Co., Bank of America, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, IBM, Infosys, KPMG, Microsoft, and Wipro were among the major participants.
Delhi IMI was ranked 34th by the NIRF management ranking 2023. Since its establishment in 2015, NIRF (National Ranking Framework Institute) has been awarding university rankings in five areas: teaching, learning and resources (TLR), research and professional practice (RP), final results (GO), coverage and inclusiveness (OI) and perception. The institute’s scoring of these parameters determines the total score, which is reflected in the annual ranking.
