This course can be called the mother of engineering. The student-teacher ratio can be 1:60. It may go as high as 1:75 in some classes. The faculty members are excellent and the series exam is moderate level to pass.
The course curriculum is moderate. The faculties are very helpful and committed. I choose mechanical engineering because I like to learn about machines and flight mechanics. The end semester exams are moderate and there is 2 internal exams every semester.
I choose mechanical engineering because I like to work in the robotics and automation field in the future. RIT KOTTAYAM has good faculty members. Faculty members are well qualified and professionals like PhD and MTech holders. Every month there are a series of exams for students and lab, workshops., All the b tech courses are NBA accredited and RIT KOTTAYAM has good placement history.
It was my passion to be a Mechanical Engineer and this college helped me to be great in it. There are workshops and every facility for mechanical students. the largest workshop in this college is for mechanical students. there is immense space for working inside the workshop. Teachers are also very supportive and educated. Most of the teachers had PhD from reputed institutes. There were 6-7 faculty for a class of 70 students. Exams were conducted 1 per day which gives time for preparing to next exam.
Since ours was a government college, fees was just Rs 6000. Exam fees was around Rs 1000. Overall per year fees was less than Rs 10000. Every student need to pay Rs 1000 annually as bus fees irrespective of whether using it or not. There was clear transparency in the fee structure as it is a government institute.
According to the package the fee seems just higher. It should be just 10-20 k less than its current total. It includes hostel charges, fooding for 3 time, library charges, books and materials, tution fee, transportation fee etc.
Fees structure is feasible since it is a government college. We are only paying the fees which comes under government quota which is the least compared to that of private. In fees structure there is good difference for reservation category. In total we are paying 15000/- for a year which includes 8700/- as tuition fee and admission fee. Rest comes under the PTA, development fee, placement cell fee etc.
Yearly below 10000, no admission through money. We have to pay 2000+ for semester exam registration.Bus fee also included.100 % transparency and everything under KERALA GOVERNMENT.They also provide scholarship like egrants it's pay yearly fee. There is govt hostel also like 2000 per month for food and accommodation.
Fees are very much less compared to other private colleges.with the tution fess we have to pay bus fee,pta fund etc.but it won't be a larger amount and it is affordable for a ordinary family.and the college hostel also has lower amount
Fee structure is feasible. Since students get scholarships so it becomes very affordable for students to take admission without much money problem. Fee structure also includes study tour money. Overall I liked the fee structure.
