Moulding a Future.

Remarks :

As in remarks, I have to say that the college is providing the maximum college buses (9) to distant routes which is free of cost. Staffs and teachers all are student friendly. Principal is supporting most suggestions made by the college union. One negative remark I see is the college is not utilising the area they have, it is crowded with trees.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am a first year student. In first year we are taught in general basics of all Engineering. We are studying civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics etc. It gives us the opportunity to understand what is other branches deals with.

Placement Experience :

Our college's placement cell is very active and it provides us opportunities where ever they find. It is student friendly. No, from my knowledge our college is not providing any internships. But it's gives stipends to those Mtech students who holds GATE rank. Most companies that comes are from IT field.

College Events :

Since our college is a government college not much this l fund is being provided by the college. But the college union conducting maximum events they can with the coordination of students and college. Main events are RITU, football tournaments, exhibitions, also party based events. RITU -This is a technical cum cultural fest. This is a big budget fest which is known overall Kerala.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure is feasible since it is a government college. We are only paying the fees which comes under government quota which is the least compared to that of private. In fees structure there is good difference for reservation category. In total we are paying 15000/- for a year which includes 8700/- as tuition fee and admission fee. Rest comes under the PTA, development fee, placement cell fee etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In my knowledge our college is not providing any scholarships since this is government. But from the fund raised by college is used to provide one scholarship for few students those who satisfy the criteria which includes income, family background, educational background etc.

Campus Life :

The seniors are very creative and work sincerely for the college's welfare, which helps in conducting more extracurricular activities in our college. There is no gender inequalities or diversity based on races, religion s etc., the students are conducting the programs and all students can participate. Sports are well supported in our college mainly football. Most of the extra curricular activities Will be conducted by the college union which is selected on the basis of party. Labs are average with equipments.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college alumni network is helpful in many ways like placements and all. The senior students are very helpful in whatever manner they can. They will not come to interfere in our matters and our college is raging free college. They are helpful in conducting the events and all.

Admission :

I got admission in this college by qualifying KEAM ENTRANCE examination. To get admission in government college you must have a rank below 10000. Then also to get admission in computer science, Electronics engineering etc., You must be under 5000. I like to know more about machines and all,so I choose mechanical.

Faculty :

In first year some teachers are temporary. They are not so experienced as much as permanent lecturers. But the permanent lecturers are well qualified and experienced in the courses they handle. Sometimes I think, practicals should be more not consider as a period.
