Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is like 5 days of class in a week from 9am to 4pm. The classes have digital facilities and we have workshop and lab. The lab and class activities are equally important. The overall assesment mark is some of both. In a year there are 4 series exam and 2 university exam over 2 semester. It's not more like research type.its just old school way.

Placement Experience :

There are large company placement opportunities in our college.mainly the computer engineering company.In a class around 85% who have cleared paper got placed. Infosys, Nissan,Tata consultancy etc are major companies.

College Events :

Ritu - national level techno cultural festival. Around 60000 plus people various part of India visit and participate. It provides a prizes of cash work 7 lakhs. It 2-3 day event with proshows,motoshow,robowar,etc Keli - inter college cultural festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Yearly below 10000, no admission through money.We have to pay 2000+ for semester exam registration.Bus fee also included.100 % transparency and everything under KERALA GOVERNMENT.They also provide scholarship like egrants it's pay yearly fee. There is govt hostel also like 2000 per month for food and accommodation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I opted MCM scholarship for minority. I applied it through online by submitting 10,12, entrance mark list and income certificate and bonafide certificate and college fee receipt.I obtained 16000 per year.

Campus Life :

College life is very beautiful and we have a wide area of rubber trees and full of greenery.There is seniority issue and gender inequality. Everyone is free in their on way.The lab assistants are very helping to make clarity on our project and there are many events,quizzes and activities on every important occasion by SAE, IEEE, ISTE and other societies. We have other state students and there is no discrimination in sector.

Hostel Facilities :

The government hostel is given on basis of many thing like categories, rank, ration card etc.and availability is also low.there are neatly maintained and good food. In a room there are 3 students. The fees around 2000 per month.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

They are very supportive and helpful to get fund for events and activities like projects,matches etc.

Admission :

You need to score marks above 300 in KEAM exam by Government of Kerala. Lower marks and basis of category like OBC, SC,ST can also get seat.The exam contain topics of both plus one and plus two it along add the plus two score. The overall rank in KEAM to enter RIT is below 8000.

Faculty :

The principal is head of the college and we have HOD and large number of professors and lab assistants. The professors are mostly doctorate holder and lab assistants have polytechnic degree. The are 2-3 leacturers for each subject they are well qualified and easy to mingle too.Many of them are 35+ aged and have lots of industrial experience.

The Rajagiri engineering experience

Placement Experience:

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Placement Experience:

Third year and fourth-year students are eligible for placements. Companies like Qburst, TCS, Byjus, and Applexus have visited and offered placements for the students. The average package is 6LPA. I plan to be placed at any one of the companies with a good package and prepare for the gate exam.
