In my personal opinion the curriculum is outdated. They include basics topics from all aspects of mechanical engineering but most of these are oudated. They did not include enough software lab that are relevant in current scenario to get a job

Chose CSE at RIT Kottayam for industry relevance. Faculty:student ratio good. Professors hold relevant qualifications, but teaching methods vary. Term exams were generally timely. Passing difficulty moderate, reflecting a balanced academic challenge.
External scholarships and financial assistances provided by Government and external institions accepted but not provided from college. No campus jobs available for students. Students are only involved academically.
The whole course is divided into 2 years. Each year is further divided into 2 semesters. Professors are highly knowledgeable and have good understanding of their particular subjects. Every professor has a good knowledge of the industry as well as minimum 7 years of teaching experience.
The faculty of the college are experienced and also accompanied by guest lecturers who seem cooler than the college faculty. Many of the faculty are from the same district, and all can be approached for further doubt clearing, etc. The teacher to student ratio is low, but the quality weighs for it.
8225 for the first term. Then it gradually decreases. My second sem fees was 1700 for the examination alone. Its really feasible enough for a middle class family guy. For odd semester we have to give 8225 and for even semester its just 1700.
The fee structure is very feasible. Since the college under the control of the state government, the fee here is affordable. The students who get admission thourough reservations are eligible for fee concessions.
Fee structure is very feasible since it is a government college there is upto a 12000 per year. This fee structure is only provided in governmemt collegrs. It provides many oppurtunities for the students who are backward classes etc.
Fees structure is based on the government regulations. Only an amount Rs 8500 per year was needed for the tution fees. There was a bus facility, which cost Rs 900 per year. Exam fees and course registration costs 200 per each paper. Rs 1000 is needed annually for PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION. Overall an estimate of 15000 is enough for an academic year.
The fee structure is a tad expensive but keeping in mind engineering college, it is moderate. The tuition fee along with all other expenses is around 1 lakh for a year. Having an OBC/SC or any other caste certificate might cost you very less as compared to general students.
