College of Engineering, Trivandrum was established in 1939 by Sree Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, the Maharaja of Travancore. It is the first Engineering College in then Travancore State. The college has been accredited by NBA and affiliated to the University of Kerala and its architectural department is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram. It has been approved by AICTE.
The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, computer applications and architecture. Admission to the College of Engineering, Trivandrum to these courses are conducted every year.

This college is the top engineering college in Kerala engineering. So the admission is little difficult. I had to write KEAM entrance exam. So if you can score within the first 1000 rank then you can get admission for computer science.

The admission to the college is based on your rank in Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM). Which will be notified in every newspapers and also in CEE website. From this year the entrance exam is computerised just like JEE which have 150 questions, Mathamatics - 75 Questions Physics -45 Questions. Chemistry - 30 Questions Total Time - 180 Minutes. Students who have high ranks in the entrance will get admission based on the demand to the course The starting admission rank in CET for State merit Category is from 100-150 and closing will be 6000. Courses like CSE,ECE etc have high demand hence need high ranks. There is OBC- NCl, Muslim,Gen-EWS and other reservations according to government orders. There will be certain rounds for allotments and the admission process after allotment is very simple and with proper documents it will be cleared by half a day.

The admission of a student is based on the rank published by CEE Kerala. The rank is decided by a student's score in KEAM exam and his/her 12th Exam percentage. Other details are available in KEAM Official website. The exam is easier thean JEE Mains exam. The cutoff is usually high as this is the best college under the Kerala Government. The rank list was published very late and admission process took a lot of days to complete.

The admission is based on keam exam. Kerala engineering entrance exam. Inorder to be eligible you need a minimum pass mark. And to get into cet you need atleast a min cut off of 1700 rank for Circuit branches and 5k for non circuit branches.
