Remarks :

Positive- There are many positive sides for choosing this college. Some of them includes teaching style and frankness. Negative- If one is looking for trouble, theres always trouble. troubles are like evening snacks in this college. so dont go deep into negativity. Always stay positive. If you choose negative way, make sure you make it more negative because two negatives make a positive.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Each branch has its own way of study and research. Here students are their own teacher means students have so interest that they do reasearch of their own and when there is any problem they consult their respective profeesors. Labs are very frequent but that doesn't make us tired. After completing college hrs students directly go to their respective clubs for their research work. We have midesm exam of 20 marks and endsem exam of 70 marks and 10 marks are given by teacher to each individual based on their performance and attendance

Placement Experience :

Many good companies come and go. but its a real talent when you apply for outside work companies. Once upon a time I saw a companion who got 76k worth stipend. Its so cool to be present there at the time of campus placements.

College Events :

Ritu is our technical and cultural fest. It holds a special place among the cultural fests from kerala. Its actually the 4th great fest in entire kerala. Its budget is nearly 30 lakh. This fest is not conducted by the government or the members, instead its conducted and controlled by students in various departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

8225 for the first term. Then it gradually decreases. My second sem fees was 1700 for the examination alone. Its really feasible enough for a middle class family guy. For odd semester we have to give 8225 and for even semester its just 1700.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarships for which I have applied. Some of them include MCM(merit cum means) and E-grantz. There are several other scholarships you can avail during the first semester. MCm will give nearly 30k and egrantz give nearly 16k.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities mainly include football and cricket. There are many stidents enrolling for football than other games combined. Sports are kept every even semesters and its really great. The lab sessions are also storming and charming. There are many dorms and parties on every 2 weeks.

Hostel Facilities :

I didnt get govt college hostel. So I opted for an external hostel near to the college. It has good food and a warming atmosphere. Fees is also upto the mark. If I had to give a review about it, I would give a 4. 6 out of 5.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni netwok is the best in entire kerala. They help the college in any needs as this college gets very little from government. Even for conducting small football tournaments the give us a very stable financial support.

Admission :

Faculty :

Faculty. you cant call them faculty. there are good teachers but at what cost. There are more shits here than in the entire World. Therefore before reviewing, I would like to say that because of them, dont get your heads down.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
