Remarks :

Even though I've only been here for 5 months, I'm truly in love with this wonderful institution. With an excellent faculty, basic amenities, top notch campus placements and wonderful seniors who have always got our back, the college life here is something I would regret if missed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum mainly focus on 'course outcomes' in all the subjects. For first year students, there are a lot of subjects which are taught at the base level. We have two series exams conducted by the college and a main exam conducted by the University.

Placement Experience :

The placements here are good overall, as far as I've heard from the seniors and the faculty. Top companies like TCS, Oracle, Infosys gives job offer to students. But since I'm only a first year student I still have to learn more about internships and placements here.

College Events :

The college conducts a national level techno-cultural fest 'RITU' in which a lot of students from different colleges have participated. There is also an intra-college cultural fest 'KELI' in which the students are grouped into houses.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is very feasible. Since the college under the control of the state government, the fee here is affordable. The students who get admission thourough reservations are eligible for fee concessions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Different scholarships are provided for students who showcase excellent academic performances and also for students who got admission thourough reservations. But, I'm not much aware about the loan facilities provided here.

Campus Life :

The college has various clubs as in music, dance, cinema, quiz, astronomy etc. We are also in the top 5 IEEE Student Branch in Asia Pacific Region. The labs here are well equipped. There is no discrimination here on any basis, which is one of the best qualities of this institution.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors here are really helpful in academics as well as in providing technical education. They often provide free classes for freshers to learn technical skills. The alumni network plays a major role to achieve placements

Admission :

I got admission thourough a state level entrance exam 'KEAM'. I specifically wanted Computer Science branch. Even though I could have got other branches in other colleges, since CSE was my aim, it made me choose this.

Faculty :

The faculty is of top class. They are people who have achieved top degrees in their fields and have a years of experience. They routinely conducts quizzes and tests which helps to keep up with portions. They always do full justice to their job.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
