Very good placement cell and good placement ratio.
Campus is very close to nature and very calm atmosphere

Less availability of shops after 9pm and we have to go long

Chose CSE at RIT Kottayam for industry relevance. Faculty:student ratio good. Professors hold relevant qualifications, but teaching methods vary. Term exams were generally timely. Passing difficulty moderate, reflecting a balanced academic challenge.

Internship opportunities at our college cover diverse roles in software development, data analysis, and more. Students engage in projects ranging from mobile app development to machine learning implementations. Stipends are provided based on performance. Hostel Facilities :

Hostel at RIT Kottayam includes well-equipped rooms with basic amenities. Meal quality is satisfactory, offering a diverse menu. Hostel registration process is straightforward, and affordability is reasonable. If rented off-campus, locality details depend on personal choices, but proximity to the college is advantageous for ease of access.

Eligibility for KEAM was on the official website. Applied online, paid fees through the portal. KEAM scores determined admission. Reserved category benefits were present, though not utilized. Suggest clearer communication on admission progress. Accepted to RIT Kottayam, satisfied with the process.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
