The curriculum is too hectic for the students. The classes are from 8 in morning to 1 anthen from 2:20 to 5 in evening. It gives a very less time for the students to relax and find time for other activities. The lab is too hectic as micromanagement takes places.

The curriculum of engineering colleges in first year is just jumbled and you need to study everything. You will explore all ther branches and if you are in top cgp in college u will get a chance to upgrade your branch.you need to improve you skills side by side in order to get a better placement. In nit UTTRAKHAND there are two semesters in a year and each semester includes two class test a two mid term exam

The courses are with par with the modern technologies and all the professors in the course are highly qualified from big institution. The environment for the course is on high level as it is a National level college . There are labs for all the studies to learn practically. We have semester based exams.

I love mechanics and this code provides me with the same. I like to learn about machines which is what this course is all about. This college has the best faculty-student ratio in all the NIT,s which is around 1:10. All the faculties have completed their graduation and post-graduation and PhDs from IITs and renowned universities around the world. Term exams were held every 40 days and were very easy to be passed.
I prepare for my JEE paper so that j can get into the best college in the country and I can make my career. I think 10 faculties on 60 students. They are having a great experience in the industry and also many are Ph.D. holders from the USA. Exams are every time timely but it is not that difficult to pass.
Fee structure is available on college website.Based on income of parents college students are given relaxation and even category students get 100% tutiin fee relaxation. You can visit website and can see fee structure.
NIT Uttarakhand is the last choice of the majority of students among all other NITs. It has the lowest ranking, poor placement records, and no awards or academic excellence. It is considered a Tier 4 institute.
On the other hand, IET Lucknow is a prestigious institution, especially for engineering students. It is one of the best UPSEE institutes in Lucknow. Moreover, it is considered academically strong and has earned good recognition.
Check the following table for a brief insight on relevant statistics of both institutes:
Particulars | IET Lucknow | NIT Uttarakhand |
Total Fees | 3.44 Lakhs | 5.87 Lakhs |
Highest Package | 36 LPA | 10.5 LPA |
Average Package | 5 LPA | 6.8 LPA |
Total Offers | 100+ | 90 |
Generally, ECE is better than ME but it applies to the institutes which are nearly on the same level. In this scenario, pursuing ME from IET Lucknow would be the better option in terms of placements, a recognition that would later help you in finding a job through off-campus placement.
