The college has some of the great professors with knowledge of their field and experimce in teaching.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is in development phase making it difficult for the students to cope up.
The lab facilities are not upto the level of a NIT

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is too hectic for the students. The classes are from 8 in morning to 1 anthen from 2:20 to 5 in evening. It gives a very less time for the students to relax and find time for other activities. The lab is too hectic as micromanagement takes places.

Class Size : 22Course Fees : INR 660000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship opportunities in the college is too low. There are very less companies coming for on campus internship. Students mainly prefer off campus internship. There are internship mainly for CSE department. Other departments lack these opportunity.

Placement Experience :

The placement in college is normal. The acerage package is somewhat between 8 to 20 lac. The hisgest package goes to 21 lac. The CSE department has the highest number of placement with highest packages. Other departments has relatively low package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee is 62,000 per semester and total fee is 69,000-79,000 per semester. The hostel fee is 32,000 including food and accomodation. There are several scholarships available in the college for different reservation groups. The education loan is also available.

Campus Life :

There are two annual fests organised in the college. Prodyogeeky is the annual tech fest organised in the college. Cultural fest was organised but we hav noot seen it after covid. The sports culture in the college is good and students participate in inter nit and other sport tournamnents. Intra College competitions are also held. Apart from these there are several technical and cultural events organised every 2 to 3 weeks.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is provided by the college. The fee is 33,000 Rs. This fee includes food and accomodation. The hostels are newly built and are in excellent conditions. The food provided by the college is too bad. The taste is unberable. Non-Veg is not provided in the college. Interested students have the option to opt out for hostel and food during the fee submission time.

Hostel Fee : INR 33000 per year

Admission :

The eligibility is same as for the other NIT in india. One has to clear Jee mains and secure 75% in 12th board in order to get addmission. Also the rank must be good in jee mains. The students must go through JoSaa counsilling to get their seat in the college.

Faculty :

The faculties have great knowledge in their respective fileds. Most of them are Assistant Professors. The faculties are experienced and most of them are young. They fous on important topics and their method of teachings are not boring.

Placement is good in BTECH CSE .. As 70 % students are placed in Btech CSE 2024 . From 7 semester students btech are eligible for Placements round and many companies visit our campus like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe.. and the highest package was 52 lpa and average package is 6 lpa .. Many talented students got 50 lpa and above from top companies. ( MANG).

Honest review on GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placement is semester 7 and 8 which is 4th year. A number of companies visit the campus including HCL foundation, ICICI Bank, Mother Dairy, Godrej agrovet Ltd. Etc. I myself am thinking of going into research field so i'll have to do further studies in the same field.

My experience from graduating from GEU

Placement Experience:

The placement shows quantity but not quality, in my batch 60-70% students were placed with a highest package of 5lakh per annum and minimum package of 2.4 lakh. As per fees of college the average package seems low.

Placement Experience:

This college has quite good placements for CS students. The average package of the college is 7 lpa which is quite decent. Last year the highest package offered was of 68 lpa at Palo Alto. The eligibility for sitting in placements are : - you should have a CGPA of 7 or above. - you are allowed to sit in placements from 7 semester.

Comprehensive Reivew

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements after 3rd year. There are companies who comes for placements. Its better if you are in the top 10 percent of the crowd. The college website mentions 70 percent students were placed. My plans are to go for gate exam or go with a good placement.

Placement Experience:

Remarks:

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.
