NIT Sikkim's current campus is located at Ravangla. It is a transitory campus located amidst an abundance of modern conveniences and outdoor facilities. It is situated next to the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Ravangla campus. The area directly surrounding these buildings, which is roughly 2-3 acres, has been secured. The temporary campus is well connected by road. With the Director's hiring in 2011, three vehicles are used to go to and from the campus for official and medical functions.

- The faculty of our college is good; they provide all information to improve not only the theoretical but also practical activities.
- We become eligible for the internship after completing three years of our program, and we have to register all our details such as name, domain, and area of interest with the placement committee so that we can have a good opportunity for an internship.

- Government Scholarship is available for students who are not financially strong, and the fee structure is quite affordable, such as 67000/semester for general students whose family income is above 5 lacs/year.
- We dont have our permanent campus, and the temperature is also very low, even in the summer season.

I got into the college through my result of JEE mains. In it I had a 93 percentile and got NIT Sikkim in general category by other state quota. The admission had some quite complications which I didn't like otherwise the process was smooth.

There were different sections for the eligibility of the course which we can find in the official website of the college. Application form, fees and dates were all mentioned in the official website of the college. There were advantages for the home state students there cut off was easy as compared to other states it was good opportunity for the home state students.

Admission:
You have to take an Entrance exam named JEE Mains and then go for counseling (Josaa or CSAB or preferably both) I got into this college in the second round of CSAB. IJEE mains will be available 3 months before the exam on the JEE mains official website. The questions in this exam is based on PCM of 10+2 level only of the CBSE curriculum After you clear this exam, based on your percentile and preference you will get a college and branch. You have to pay a certain amount to either lock or upgrade your seat. SC/ST students have to pay comparatively low fees and they get a college in the 80-90 percentile also. But if you are a General /OBC candidate, you get a college if you score at least above the 90 percentile. After you get a college, you have to go for physical verification in your college with all the documents and complete the admission process.

JEE MAIN is the eligibility criteria. SC gets more benefits. There is a home state reservation. Home-state students easily get this nit Sikkim. Here top 20 SC students get a scholarship of 104000. There is full fee remission for those students whose parents' annual income is less than 1 lakh.

With a 75% in the school I had not faced too much of problem and then I had to clear the JEE exam for the admission because it was set as a basic eligibility. Some categories, such as obc, sc, st, and ews, have some reservations. When you pass the jee main exam, I had to fill out a form in the josaa round for counselling, and there is a csab round after the admission completion.
Admission:
I did my class 12th in the Science stream and my interest in the engineering sector motivated me to enroll myself in it. I had to qualify for JEE Mains to do B.Tech from a reputed college. I worked hard and prepared for around a year before appearing for the exam. I cleared the examination and while searching for the best colleges, I came across this one and checked its cut-off list. My score was above the required cut-off, so I decided to apply here. The online mode of application was used by me.
Admission:
To be part of the college one has to clear JEE exam and must secure a minimum of 65% in 10+2. The college was perfectly going with my budget as well as I received the seat for the college during my JOSAA counselling. The college is good and quite popular for its engineering program in India. The college is also the house of the supercomputer name PARAM Kanchenjunga supercomputer it is the fastest supercomputer among any NITs in India.
Admission:
The admission Process is totally based on the jee mains marks. So one must try to get a high rank in jee mains students who wish to join NIT Sikkim, must prepare well 12 syllabi thoroughly to get competitive marks in jee mains exam.
