Admission Guidelines

Admissions of M Tech programs are done through centralized admission process coordinated online through “Centralized Counseling for M Tech Admission (CCMT)” constituted by Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD.
Admission based on GATE.

Course Details

No Tuition Fees are charged from SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. In addition to the fees, Convocation fees of Rs 750/- and Thesis/Dissertation evaluation fees of Rs 5,000/- to M Tech, shall be charged in the final semester of the program.

Have separate department for structural engineering students specifically for M.tech
Library facilities are to good and ambience of the Library is also good.

Dislikes

They do not provide intership facilities or they donot allow mtech structures students to do internship in any other company.
Research facilities are not upto the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some subjects are USP's of college example earthquake dynamic I have not seen any student other than VNIT will have same amount of knowledge about this subject who is from other institution. Also subject like Multi storey building is also the one of the part of curriculum.

Highly knowledgeable faculty, they are in top positions in india in their respective subjects
very responsive staff is there, campus is very clean

Dislikes

some Equipment's are not available in the laboratories
There is no separate mess for south indians where we eat curries which different from the curries which are eat by north indians

The curriculum which is present in college is need few changes , some subjects should include, the old exam pattern should be change, innovative exam pettern like open book test should be intiate, the timings of clg also should chnge
