- Highly knowledgeable faculty, they are in top positions in india in their respective subjects
- very responsive staff is there, campus is very clean
Dislikes
- some Equipment's are not available in the laboratories
- There is no separate mess for south indians where we eat curries which different from the curries which are eat by north indians
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum which is present in college is need few changes , some subjects should include, the old exam pattern should be change, innovative exam pettern like open book test should be intiate, the timings of clg also should chnge
Internships Opportunities :
After completion of my 1st Year we got 4 companies for internships where they providing 20k -50k, companies like AARVE consrtuctions, Black and veatch, and other two companies ,interviewed the students who are they interested in inernship
Placement Experience :
Im belongs to Applied Mechanics department and structural engineering branch, from last three years my deaprtment have 100 % placement where we placed in coure, and the averga package is around 6 lpa where the companies are majorly from pune mumbai delhi chennai based.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is for every semester which lasts for 5 to 6 months, In first semester of MTech i have paid an amount of 53k for tution fee and 52k for hostel which too high for the hostel whih is very old and the facilities are also below the my expectation level, in 2nd semester i have piad 41k tuition fee and 48k hostel fee and we get hostel refund of atleast 15k for the 1st year, in 3rd sem i have paid 42k tution fee and 41k hostel fee where it reduced nearly 10k,in the 4th sem i have to pay 39k of hostel fee and 42k of tution fee.
Campus Life :
Im not 100% satisfied with my present college but in comparision with the my btech college it is far better. My BTech college is very sofisicated where it is around 10 acres and my Mtech college is in 205 acres which 20 times bigger, in erms of faculty knowledge and the grip they have here in VNIT is very good.
Hostel Facilities :
MTech and PHD scholors have the seperate Hostel in VNIT, where every person have been allocated a single room which very spacies, but the building is very old, Bathrooms are very clean and neat every day sanitation workers clean the hostel, the facilities which were provided are very less when comparing with the fee we are paying, we dont have washing machine is very big problem, some problems are there in hostel some of the problems are solving by the hostel warden but some problems they also not solving which very bad thing we didnt expect. The main problem is we dont have seperate mess for southindians where we et different food comparitively with north indians, some days the curries were too bad some days good, but they are providing protien food, 1st year Mtech mess which is old mega mess which serving very tastless food which cant be eat by south indians, but the new mega mess proving some what good taste food comparitively with Old mega mess. we can take admission through VNIT
Admission :
We will get admission in VNIT thorugh CCMT where u have to write the Gate exam and based on ur gate score and reservation u have u will get seat in different branch, in 2023 gate i have got 387 gate score and my category is OBC,last time least cutoff of OBC for structural engineering is around 370 and for sc st category is 320 nearly.
Faculty :
Very good experience with the teaching of the faculty,where everyone can interact with the faculty for their doudts, but the phd scholors who are working under the faculty they dont that much knowledge regarding the subject they are teaching.
