Government College of Engineering, Amravati was established in 1964 by the Government of Maharashtra. The college offers B.Tech at the UG level and M.Tech at the PG level. Not only this, the institute also offers PhD programs in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and ECE. GCOEA was ranked 45 in Outlook India’s Top Engineering Colleges of 2012 and 68 in Dataquest’s Top Engineering Colleges in India of 2011. It was also ranked 5th in the list of top engineering colleges situated in the Western side of India excluding all IITs.The ranking of the DQ 2012 shows a steep jump to 35.

The reason I choose this college was because I got admission in spot round and I had not any other options so many private colleges in the same city was very better in case of placements. I wanted to go for some colleges in Nagpur but due to let's go I didn't get into this college. I played for Ramdev Baba engineering College Nagpur but the cut of was so high. Send me a process if easy you need to go for CET exam which is mhcet after that general merit list will come and you will get a percentage score after that kya proced chart and you will get placed in college accordingly

Currently I am studying in electronics and telecommunication engineering branch and the cutoff for this branch was 94 percentile while the cutoff for CS and it branches was 97 ,98 percentile if you belong to a particular category you can get admission with very low ranks. The admission procedure of the college is you have submit all the documents uploaded in the mhtcet registration process.
