Safety on the campus is awesome with almost no safety concern.
Peer group: The peer group and set of students that surround you are the best among the country and the energy inside the campus is amazing.

Dislikes

The gender ratio is quite bad, very few girl students for such a prestigious institute as IITB
The hostel rooms for 2nd and 3rd year UG students are very bad.

IIT Bombay is very popular for its placement records which are the best in the country. This year only the highest package offered is 4 crore per annum. The average placement is 22.85 lacs per annum. The overwhelming environment of the campus
Amenities for almost all the needs of ours.

Dislikes

Danger of creatures like snake , crabs etc.
All the buildings are too far causing very much tiredness

College placements usually start from last year. The college provides a lot of help for our placement and a lot of companies including the big giants like Google, Microsoft, etc. come to the campus for placements.

The placements here are excellent and the alumni network is really very strong many times alumni help the students to get their dream job or internship. After graduation, there are numerous opportunities like a job or MBA or M.Tech or UPSC or starting your own company and many more.

Exposure of Mumbai: the city offers a multitude of opportunities to grow yourself personally, socially, professionally and IITB offers you to grow academically towards the best self of yours.
Facilties: The facilities available are the best in India and at almost free of cost. You can become a national level player at any thing or you can take it as a hobby depending on your choices, but resource availability will be there.

Dislikes

Competition: As this is the best institute in the country, the privileges also bring some cons, competition being one. As resources are limited (and always be), the process to avail of them becomes merit based and competition kicks in.
Hectic schedule: you do not really get time to explore many things if your academic load is high. And by global standards and due to the competition it is pretty high compared to other parts of the world.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start in the pre-final semester and are completed before the beginning of the final semester. Everyone is placed somewhere or the other, might or might not receive their dream offer or company, but generally, everyone is able to convert a decent firm's decent offer. BCG, Google, Microsoft, Bain, Mckinsey, Cohesity, Blackrock, Kearney, and Strategy& are a few of the companies that visit regularly. Highest package runs in crores (?4cr/year) for international locations - Hongkong or the US. The highest within India is also close to ?2.5cr, the average package is ~?25LPA. Greater than 95% of students get decent placements. I'll be exploring jobs after the degree, and might go for higher education as well sometime after experiencing a few years.

Placement Experience:

Students who are in the final year for 6th semester students are eligible for the campus placement and there are a number of companies are listed to our campus IIT Bombay like Google Facebook Wipro ICICI Amazon Apple like Company service trade they are offered jobs for the students who were killed and very active at their projects and students who got minimum 60 or 70% and above percent days in an academic year will be eligible for the campus placements.

Remarks:

One of the most prestigious colleges in India, among of all IIT Bombay was at first position back in 2012. Overall performance of IIT Bombay was good apart from academics.

Admission:

I Liked Science that's why I choose Engineering. I choose IIT Bombay because it's number one in India and also because the connectivity from Mumbai to the rest of India is very good. Well, you have to clear an examination called JEE. first, you have to clear the JEE mains exam around 10 to 12 lakh students give the exam and from that 2 lakh 2.5 lakh are selected for JEE advanced. Then you have to give JEE advanced examination and based on your rank you can choose the stream and college you want to go the better the rank the better your chances are you getting the branch you want or the institute you want

Remarks:

Well IIT Bombay is the best college in India to do engineering. The factors like good placements, well-renowned faculties, good infrastructure, excellent cultural, sports, and technical activities, exposure to the real and corporate world are what make it the best college. And that's the reason I opted for this.

IITB-The best in India

Admission:

The only way to be an IIT Bombay Undergraduate is to ace the IIT-JEE Advanced exam which is held every year. It is preceded by the JEE Mains exam which is to screen out the candidates for the Advanced exam. It is really tough exam given the conditions and time crunch. It's somewhat one of the world's toughest exams. I prepared for the exam for about two years with my school textbooks and got a decent rank info 1722 in advanced and 1776 in main, and easily got the branch I am in.
