Remarks :

Best location for studies with different culuture. Its been a great experience for me the University is located in the srinagar city besides dal lake which remarks a beautiful destination to live. Well qualified scientists are there. This university ia also among top agriculture universities of india. We can get enough of time for self studies and but the only bad thing about this university is that there is lack of variety of students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Bsc horticulture is a branch of agriculture which deals with studies of fruit crop vegetables crops and flower growing and management harvest Highley qualified scientists are there. There is total of 8 sem with last 2 sem are for experiment learning which add a value for this course

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience :

Well there is less placements held in campus becoz of kashmir diplomatic conditions but if you go outside or directly to company you will definitely get opportunity although its all dependent on studenta calibre

College Events :

Well there is some cons in capus life becoz of current conditions of kashmir but yes there is sporta meets, annual fumction , competition like art writing essays poster making and due to best wheather everthing is worthful

Campus Life :

There are enough of labs for practical although they are improving Sports facilities are also there, Central library is there which have all books u need there is wifi everywhere in the campus and also in hostels which give students a good opportunity for research work

Hostel Facilities :

Yes i am a hostelier, hostel are well maintained good for living, wifi available, sweeper come daily basis, big rooms are available, variety of studensta are there, supportive seniors which can help you in academic

Faculty of Agriculture Skuast, a short glimpse

Placement Experience:

The campus is given to students for MSC courses in skaust. The biggest problem here is that no companies or else visit here and we totally rely upon the govt jobs. About 60% of students get it to Govt offerer jobs and others get it to other fields. I think I will go for PhD and will do research in the future.

Through university entrance test after passing 12 th class examination in medical stream. I got 106 marks out of 147 in test followed by councelling in the university to choose the course of choice. The uet is held by university

Placement Experience:

There are least placements but job opportunities are quiet enough. Yes our college provide internship programme to the students. During which students are given project work to complete in a given perioud of time. Stipend is also given to the students.
