- I like the place where it is situated it is between the hills and the view from here is very beautiful.
- 10 dispose facility in the campus very very good you can find this separate ground for every sports and and coaches are very good

- We have to travel by bus from mandi to reach campus which is tedious.

The course curriculum is relevant due to its focus on practical projects and case studies, which influenced my choice. It adequately prepares for real-world applications but could benefit from more industry collaborations. Improvements could include more interactive sessions and up-to-date content to match industry trends. Exams are well-timed but could be more challenging.

- Food. the food in the mess is awesome.they got a pretty balanced diet ,which includes both vegeterian and non vegetarian food.there is no restriction for the amount of food that we can eat.the timings in mess is also pretty flexible.
- Hostel.the hostel we statu is a 1bhk apartment ,it has also the basic facilities included.we have got a microwave oven,iron box and geysers too.the security guards are really friendly here.there is no time limit here.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Semester-end exams are there but along with that presentations, and quizzes are also different modes of evaluation. i would suggest inviting more guest faculty from other renowned institutions and those who are experts in the industry to iit mandi.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligilbe for the placements after the completion of 2nd semester. Since the course started in 2022, the first batch is yet to graduate and official placement records have not been released. However, some offers from Japan have been made. In India, students have been offered PPO from MaxLife and Yum Brands. Some other companies that came for placement are Axtria and FIITJEE.

What is your review of Faculty Of IIT Mandi?
I have gone through the faculty profile given on the official website of IIT Mandi. It looks similar to that of all newly established IITs, except for IIT Gn and IIT H, which are better than the others.
One of my friends is also a student of the Mechanical branch at IIT Mandi. Most of the faculty members in the Mechanical branch are married couples. One of them got a job here and after that, they recommended their spouses.
In terms of research, the branch is not that good. Most of the faculties just mug up a research paper and publish a new one. One of the faculties became associate by doing the same. If you want to pursue higher studies in Mechanical, then don’t choose IIT Mandi.
