Course Curriculum Overview :

The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course at IIT Delhi offers a comprehensive curriculum that blends theory and practicality, keeping pace with industry trends. I chose this course for its innovative approach and strong emphasis on problem-solving. The faculty-student ratio is favourable, ensuring personalized attention. Professors boast impressive qualifications, often with PhDs from prestigious institutions. Their teaching methods incorporate interactive lectures and hands-on projects. Term exams are conducted punctually, maintaining academic rigour. While the exams can be challenging, the support from faculty and peers makes passing achievable, fostering a dynamic and enriching learning environment.

Internships Opportunities :

IIT Delhi offers diverse internship opportunities with reputed companies. Some prominent names include Google, Microsoft, and Deloitte, providing roles in software development, data analysis, and consulting. These internships often come with competitive stipends. Students work on real-world projects during their internships, gaining valuable experience and contributing to meaningful outcomes that enhance their skill set and employability. The internships play a pivotal role in shaping students' careers and providing exposure to industry dynamics.

Placement Experience :

IIT Delhi boasts excellent placement opportunities. Students become eligible for campus placements from their seventh semester. A wide array of prestigious companies visit, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and more, offering numerous job offers. The highest package can exceed 40 LPA, with an average package around 15-20 LPA, depending on the sector. The placement percentage often hovers around 80-90%, highlighting the strong employability prospects for graduates. In cases where campus placements are not secured, career services and alumni networks actively support students in securing off-campus opportunities or pursuing higher education.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are much lower than private colleges and fairly consistent. There are various scholarships available for students from lower economic or social strata. Many fellowships for high achieving students in academics, as well as extracurriculars, are also available (like I got Amit and Deepali Sinha foundation fellowship).

Campus Life :

Rendezvous is the top cultural fest in north india organised by any college. Its going to be held in october this year. Availability of all kinds of books. World class lab facilities (arguably) Diversified clubs for quizzing, sports etc which perform very well in all competitions

Hostel Facilities :

The on-campus hostel facilities are known to offer well-furnished rooms with amenities like beds, study tables, and storage. Meals are provided in the mess, and while the quality varies, it's generally decent. The registration process for on-campus hostels involves an application through the institute's portal. Hostel fees are quite affordable, making it an attractive option for students seeking convenience and a vibrant campus life.

Admission :

Admission to the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department at IIT Delhi is highly competitive and follows a rigorous procedure. It typically involves: Candidates must qualify for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced, which is the second stage of the JEE selection process. (For my year CSE dept opened at 16 and closed at 128)To be eligible, candidates must secure a minimum score in JEE Advanced and meet the age and educational requirements set by IIT Delhi. After qualifying, applicants need to fill out an online application form through the official IIT Delhi admissions portal. Candidates must choose their preferred branch, with Computer Science and Engineering being one of the options. Based on JEE Advanced ranks and choices filled, candidates go through several rounds of online counselling. Seats are allocated accordingly.

Placement Experience:

Placements are going abyssmal recently. due to sudden hike in number of students and the recession going on, there is utter discomfort among students regarding the placement season. most companies do visit the campus, but theyjust take 2 or 3 students and leave. the packages are pretty good, but only few people get to bag those. so at the end of season, there is a few population placed in good companies, and a big population left unemployed.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okayish nor too good neither too bad the average package here is around 6 lpa which is less but some companies do come and place the students in the campus itself also the network of alumni is good they also apply for offcampus placement and try build a network for the juniors. We often get internship notification from our seniors only

Course Curriculum Overview:

DU has many reputable colleges and departments that offer high-quality education, but like any institution, there may be variations in the quality of education depending on the specific course, faculty members, resources available, and other factors. there is some frequency for exam along with your perspective on their moderate level

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester companies started hiring interns which happens incampus obviously and they also pay kind of decent stipend somewhere around 20-40k. Placements here is decent enough like if you want that 1cr package you'll have to look for off campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to pursue engineering and ipu has a great reputation. placements is also decent.Faculty is nice and teaching method is also nice. Student ratio is pretty bad especially in cse. There are two exams in one semester the midsem and endsem. Exams are moderately difficult. The college is also in a very lively location in Delhi and has many places for students to hang out. Faculty at msit, is well educated and best at their job of teaching, almost all the teachers are experience holders, teaching at msit. It's easy to pass the exams If you study from teachers notes because most of the questions are related to their notes in midsem and endsem. Exams are of 30 marks and 75 marks and passing marks are 12 and 30.But the cse branch is considered as top branch in the msit and is preferred over the other branches is what I have been told by the seniors. The faculty is quite qualified and know how to teach labs are also well maintained .
