The curriculum of computer science and engineering is very well defined with respect to future perspective. One can pursue higher studies with ease or can move to industrial level. There are both theory and lab courses which prepares us for real world. There is also freedom to study courses from other departments and include them in degree credits. Exams are held mostly 4 per course per semester i.e. 2 quizzes, 1 mid semester and 1 end semester.

The curriculuum is highlly rated for its relevance in industry and comrehensiveness, blending core concepts with advanced topics in computing. The inclusion of courses on algorithms, data structures, machine learning and AI, coupled with electives in emerging areas like Blockchain and quantum computing, influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum effectively prepares students for both industry roles and academic research, with practical labs, projects, and internships that emphasize real-world applications. Exams are semester based, typically held in Nov and April. They are challenging, designed to test both theoretical knowledge and problem solving skills. Improvement could be made by incorporating more interdisciplinary courses and increasing focus on soft skills. Additionaly, adopting more interactive teaching methods like flipped classrooms could enhance learning and engagement.

It is the best course in india. One faculty deal with around 50 students on average. They all have phDs in their respective fields. IITs have the toughest term exams in the entire country. There are short tests for every 2 weeks

I was interested in knowing more about computer science and i felt like coding was what I'll enjoy learning during the 4 years of my college life, also I was getting this course on the basis of my JEE Adv rank so i ended upon choosing this course. In IITB computer science department faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:20. Faculties of here are not just highly qualified but also has tremendous experience in their particular subjects, there are numerous faculties who have been honoured with awards such as the Padma Shri, ACM and IEEE Fellowship, Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar award, Infosys Prize, and many other prestigious fellowships. Most of the faculties tries to make the course pattern such that it becomes easily understandable to the students and with continuous feedback system they review their teaching methodology from time to time. There are 2 term exams per semester, mid-sem and end-sem and apart from them there are numerous quizzes, assignments, projects and labs per courses

Interest in computer programming and maybe money??? Really don't have much idea but as IITB is a public institute... Data must be available online. Faculty, obviously are more than qualified to teach us UGs and teaching method is basically changing slides and explaining then. Many profs try to make the class more interactive but students mostly don't co-operate. Passing is easy.... You can pass with just 2 hours of study... My course started in August 7, mid September, there were mid sems, mid November there are end sems.
It was the top branch offered to my rank. And computer science had a good demand in general. The faculty was very highly experienced. The teaching method was mostly practical. Exams are quite tough, but the cut off to pass and grading metrics were relative.
The course of Computer Science Engineering is of 4 years, These four years mostly proved to be life-changing moments for the students here I aspired to be a Great Engineer in an MNC that is why i chose this course The teachers holds PhD in more than one Subject, yes this is the level and standard of teachers here The exams are tough, you will need to study hard if you want a good score
IIT Bombay is among the best and the most prestigious institute of India my priority was IIT Bombay since the beginning band I did not regret my decision at all as the curriculum of the college is very good and to the point, the coding culture is very good plus the faculty of the coding department is highly experienced and knowledgeable. I felt that the faculty of the college are highly qualified and they keep themself updated about the technological change and about the new changes in the coding.
