The college features a generally supportive faculty, with a mix of approachable and traditional members. The grading system is based on 100 marks per course: 30 from mid-semester exams, 50 from end-semester exams, and 20 from class tests and assessments. The CGPA is calculated on an absolute scale, with scores ranging from 90-100 translating to a 10 CGPA. This year, over 300 companies visited the college, offering more than 1300 job opportunities.

The highest placement package was 1.2 crore per year, secured by an Electronics and Instrumentation student from an IT firm. The overall average package is around 14.57 LPA, with a median of 11.8 LPA. Computer Science students have an average package of 21.6 LPA, a median of 20 LPA, and the highest package at 83.6 LPA. The placement rate stands at nearly 95% annually. Students are required to undertake internships in their 2nd and 3rd years, enhancing their interview skills and corporate understanding.

The annual fee is Rs. 223,000, divided into two semesters. The first semester costs Rs. 136,500 due to an additional one-time admission fee of Rs. 25,000. Tuition fees per semester are Rs. 62,500. SC/ST students and those with family incomes below Rs. 1 lakh receive a full tuition waiver, while those with incomes between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh receive a 66% waiver. Additional annual costs include Rs. 60,000 for the mess, Rs. 10,000 for hostel rent, Rs. 10,000 for hall establishment, and Rs. 8,000 for student activities and medical fees.
