We celebrate 3 major college fests that includes NITRUTSAV, INNOVISION, COSMOPOLITIAN and also other nation and regional festivals .We have a central library that have all academic and non academic related books.Our college have a excellent sports culture and also many clubs for students development.

The overall campus life is just fine there are many clubs in the college there are technical clubs then there are drama clubs then dance and music clubs are there t,art club is present there as well . a techno management fest known as innovision is organised annually then national entreprenuship summit(NES ) is organised as well then celebrity night occurs every year

The club culture here is really good there are technical clubs like cyborg, asme ,sae and opencode ,aps .social clubs like aasra and Rotaract ,cultural clubs like ritvic and pantomime.There are all kind of sport activities played like cricket ,football ,table tennis, kho kho ,volleyball, badminton, swimming.

There are many annual and technical festivals held in our college. Few are listed below. Roots, held mostly around September, is a cultural fest. Cosmo is an ethnic fest held during Oct last week. There are various books and journals available in our college library. It also has a large reading area where one can study as well as comfortably. Talking about classrooms, they are well designed and maintained, and all classrooms are equipped with smartboards.

There are many fests that happen in our college. Some of them are Innovision, Cosmopolitan and NITrutsav. These fests are celebrated in different months. Some sports events like Wriddhi also takes place in our institute.

Annual and Tech fests like Innovision held in october featuring competitions ,workshops and guest lectures ,NITRUTSAV held in Februaray ,its the cultural fest with music ,dance ,drama and art ,other small sports activities like intra hall ,inter hal wherein students from different hostels compete with each other in different sports ,Biju patnaik central library has a vast collection of books and e resoures ,students can access both physical and digital resources daily.Smart classrooms equipped with projectors WIFI and modern teaching tools ,labs are well equiped with latest technology , clubs like APS,webwiz (coding) udaan(drones) , robotics club ,cultural clubs like music dance and drama clubs also there.

The campus life is absolutely good, with such a large campus, we have every kind of sports activity places, be it swimming, cricket stadium, football and hockey stadium,basketball and tennis courts, hotels, restaurants, every necessary shop For clubs, name a skill and u will find multiple clubs based on that, be it coding and technology clubs,debating,dancing,music,poetry,writing,designing,art,sports ,research,etc. Literally everything Even now multiple clubs are there which takes students to the village areas where they help poor people with education and make their day exciting.

There are total of 6 fests along with the annual sports fest . Innovision - tech fest of NITR (held in November) Cosmopolitan - ethinic fest of NITR (held in October ) Nitrutsav - Cultural fest of NITR ( held in January) Celebrity night - India's most afmed singers are invited to perform (held in March) Vridhi - sports fest of NITR ( held in January) NES - Entrepreneurship summit of NITR (held in February) NITR has the second largest engineering library In all over Asia . For engineering students this library is like a treasure. Also different type of self help , fiction , literature and business books are available. But it's not well collected as engineering books. Every classroom has samart board facility and also has network jammers to avoid use of phone. Projectors and speakers are loud enough .But there is little bit problem of Central AC service. Every lab has sufficient equipments according to the need . Every computer and technical labs have well maintained with safetyprocedures and power supply. The college has very well sports facilities. No need to worry . Just a little problem of cricket ground and football ground shortage. Except ground the equipments are not provided by the college , you have to avail thm yourself.onky for TT you will be provided with the rackets. There are every type of club you want and those are too engaging that you feel difficult to manage those more over the academic pressure. NIT Rourkela has so many fests like INNOVISION for tech, NITRUTSAV for cultural, VRIDDHI for sports. Classrooms at NIT Rourkela are equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning and smart boards.
