The curriculum here is not very new as it's in IIIT Delhi. In first year we are taught Physics Chemistry Maths and Mechanics, Electrical, C language , Engineering drawing and Communication skills in both semesters respectively. There is scope of advancement in syllabus and is the need of the hour to sync us with the recent technologies and developments around the world and to help us excel in the tech domains.

Course cirriculum is good but they don't have more options for elective subjects. For elective subject there is a criteria of 30% i.e the enrollment for any elective course should be 30% from each batch then only that course will be allowed. Teaching method is using only ppts or sometimes white board, lab facilities are also not so good as many systems are not working. Some professors put effort in teaching and some just do as duty.

I was in the IT branch and there the teachers were really helpful and supportive. If you will go to the teachers they will surely help you with your doubts and will guide you in the best possible way. The teachers are well qualified but the teaching method of some could be boring. The exams were held on time even in the COVID era and it's really easy to pass if the exams are offline. Just study the last 10 years' question papers thoroughly.

The faculty of B.Tech IT is great they are very knowledgeable and put in the effort to provide us with industry experience so that we can excel once we enter the industry. We are encouraged to publish research papers.

Information technology has a great scope in the future and I also had an interest in it. Exams are twice a semester i.e. 4 times a year. Exams do require good preparation as the difficulty of the paper can't be said easy. The faculty is qualified and are teaching decently.
I'm pursuing BTech in the IT branch of this college because have an interest in this. Currently, I'm in my first year. I think igdtuw is comparable to dtu and nsut in terms of placements and internship opportunities. There are almost 150 students in each branch. The curriculum is updated and teachers are also knowledgeable. Some faculties are not good but I guess that is bearable. In every year there is a total of 2 semesters and in each semester there are a total of two exams midsem and endsem level of exam is also moderate, you can earn really good marks even after studying 1 week before the exam.
I choose the information Technology faculty is very good teachers are helpful they clear your doubt anytime I choose this because I have a personal interest in coding they teach you thoroughly. Exams pattern is simple you will have your minors and major
In the counseling process, I got this course. And yes IT is one of the best branches indeed. As i said I'm a first-year student and this year we are having online classes so I don't have that much information about the faculty-student ratio. Faculties are all good enough to teach us.. They all are very much qualified and yes in online classes we can't judge them on their teaching skills. It's not difficult to pass the exam till now as we are having online exams or so.
